"Don't lose sight of Van Eck. They are imho a bit of a loose cannon. They reduced their holding quite considerably from 70 million to current 38 million but haven't bought nor sold PGD stock for many weeks."

They are a known quantity as they are an index tracker - PGD is no longer in the index because of the drop in market cap - so they will sell out completely and the only unknown is over what period

Suspect MM's took a few on their books and are trying to get these better....very cheap but may stay so until the company can demonstrate profitability. Blackrock are now out which is good news.

I bought some again today. I still have major reservations but can see a quick buck to be had back up to the Placement level and slightly above.

Don't lose sight of Van Eck. They are imho a bit of a loose cannon. They reduced their holding quite considerably from 70 million to current 38 million but haven't bought nor sold PGD stock for many weeks. Wouldn't even surprise me if they bought some today. Should find that out when they update their portfolio tomorrow. But how will they behave when this gets back up to the level it was when they last dumped (5p level??). That'll be an acid test.

Relief is tangible and very understandable. Tomorrow will hopefully be a decent day too. IMO 4p is fairly likely this week.

Couple of caveats.

1) No-one should ignore what Chip is saying. He's very careful and methodical, much more so than most, including me. I happen to think MCap £22m was too low just on an asset basis, but he's quite right - performance has to improve. No reason why it shouldn't.

2) We're not sure Blackrock are out - it's still an assumption. They may simply have paused to let the share price recover and then continue to sell into strength. Obviously I hope not...

IMO based on the large trades over the last few weeks and the bounce today, it's highly likely that Blackrock is out.

Also based on the fact that it was not possible to buy in size this afternoon but large sells could be dealt (i tried a dummy 1 million sell), that suggests that any overhang is clear.

Looking promising!

Buyers beware though, the MMs will be wanting to offload the majority of the dumped shares at relatively premium prices before the real reasons behind the dumping is out and this share crashes to near zero or there is a delisting as has been mooted! I would advise anyone trying to make a quick buck here being very cute and not waiting too long before selling into the dead cat bounce

Can't seem to buy in any size here even at 2.5p.

Looking like the seller may be out.

Well done those who got in. Happy to say I have got my average down considerably.

A steady return to the 6-8p level would seem realistic if you look back to where we were before the big selling started.
