Northland first appeared on the scene in September 2014 as one of the brokers overseeing a PRG equity issue at that time, one month after PM appointed as Chairman. In another issue on Dec 2014 they were listed as the Nomad, so it will have happened between Sept and Dec 2014, so yes, about a year before suspension.

Fest - "The Nomad must have been extremely uncomfortable to cut ties with PRG at the very end."Well they *were* suspended... I don't have the dates to hand, but were Northland not appointed after Manduca's (catastrophic) arrival at Paragon? So only about a year acting for the company?

Beeks - to be fair, this would explain why the gentlemen callers in question scarpered so fast. Imagine, you've come for a polite discussion about some Board postings, and the door opens to reveal an irate and wide-eyed clubby, swearing and ranting, a butt plug in one hand, and a big pot of lube in the other. I mean, you wouldn't hang around, would you....?

Pity Paragon not in the USA. Can anyone see similarities re the loan stock ? Slighty off topic but for interest when things go wrong.

"Though the process I'm thinking of it should be quicker. If the SFO think it's a runner and they find the nomad is liable too then it's pay up time. Civil claims are balance of probability."

well of course it's 2 separate things: fraud in the case of Manduca and negligence in the case of the Nomad. Proving the first proves the second (as if the Nomad had done dd they would have spotted the fraud); but proving the second does not necessarily prove the first.

I want two things: I want to see Manduca behind bars, and I want my money back. I'd like both, but of course the second is the more important.

BTW, just a reminder of that address again:

hxxp://www.checkcompany.co.uk/director/11049966/MRS-ORARIN-FALZON-SANT-MANDUCA

If I were Manduca I wouldn't spend my time posting on BBs under pseudonyms; I'd be much more worried about the (ex-)Loan Note holders turning up chez Manduca in Virginia Water once they realise they've been conned twice and have lost everything, armed with baseball bats and intent on doing him serious harm...

Anyone thinking of paying *me* a visit: feel free, you know what's waiting for you...

Wait a minute - I thought I was Philip Manduca. Damnit, it's so hard to keep up with all of these con-man clones, and fake filterings.

I do like the fact that clubbie's gone all secret squirrel on us though. Really pushed up the excitement I'd say. Looking forward to you sharing your success with the Board and proving all those naysayers wrong clubster!!

Indeed SuperG.There is nothing whatsoever to lose in pursuit of Manduca himself, but there is more to gain in pitching battle against the nominated advisor.I will be four-square behind this initiative. The Nomad must have been extremely uncomfortable to cut ties with PRG at the very end.At senior levels I'm certain that they'll also have investigated this debacle already, and realise that their employees are guilty of gross negligence. They'll have been praying that this issue would never surface, but it will, and I'm relishing it.

He's sounding off Beeks and has been for some time. I understand you a bit better than some I think as an observer on a few threads I have seen you on. It seems like me at times you follow the bits and pieces to get a good understanding of PI behaviour.

I get sounding off and doing nothing opinions but CS held off and held off in some cases having spoken to some of those in the loan note circs.

His home visit it seems was in an attempt to stop him taking action. I'm sure the Lesotho gov and Martin Makene don't read this thread. I'm also sure PM stirred it up suggesting folk like CS were putting investor cash at risk, shifting the blame.

Now he has done what he would said he would do stayed the course and is seeing options to either show that PM can not be expected to go unchallenged and has taken other options available to get his investment back.

It was a long court case, but they got their money back all on some news which misrepresented the resource.

Though the process I'm thinking of it should be quicker. If the SFO think it's a runner and they find the nomad is liable too then it's pay up time. Civil claims are balance of probability.

So did the ITGT loan exist and was moved to by paragon to the polished side. yeah right.

The surprising upgrade on the review of the reserve report. For review take removal of the poor numbers and just concentrating on the large numbers to get a better figure.

BTW

I think there is a big opportunity on the Aim for a legal team or two to make some serious money going after what looks like an untapped market.

PPI and insurance has run it's course so time for a new drive.

That would be the most welcome thing I have ever seen for investments if it happens.

I had a long chat about liability insurance and how that flows down the chain in this investment world. So folks there is hope and where there is insurance there will always be willing legal teams your money back.

I will try to find the Canada case. Obviously a different country but it was just one rns and a few that stuck at it and got their money back.
