I wondered why the rise.

A sale by the looks of it.

It's fair to say that Darren often 'couldn't be more delighted'

gold breaks $2000, but small gold explorers sit nowhere near their mid-to-late 2020 valuations

similar charts for many of these ontario explorers - benton res, brigadier gold, cblt, dixie gold, durango resources, gambier gold, hemlo explorers, melkior res, mantaro silver, metalcorp, metallum res, orefinders res, transition metals

biggest faller - pure gold mining

No-one trusts DH anymore after the 5.5p raise last year.

Prospective buyers are deterred until funding is secured, the share price is telling you a placing is just around the corner.

Thanks for reporting back aussiebeach. It is all pretty consistent with Darren's inconsistency.
Only days ago he was telling Mark on Stockbox that he was saving money by not doing the rounds on the PR sites like Vox and Proactive and a week later he is involved in both.
With regards the raising I am glad the questioner tried to hold his feet to the fire as it sounds like he had conversations with him similar to what I did when the share price was much higher.
The answer was then that he had different ways of funding and people approaching him but just a matter of months later the raising dropped with attached weasel warrants.
Now he is saying we will go for flow through money. Well Chf didn't manage to get that away so I wait to be convinced on that as I do with most things he says at the moment.
In the meantime the share price drops ever lower while we await THE 'plan' 😏

Darren Hazlewood seems to be very busy on the PR circuit, he was presenting at Proactive last night, I took a few notes.

During Q&A someone challenged him about the 5.5p placing when the share price was 11p a few months earlier, the questioner reminded him he said he did not want to dilute when the share price was at 14p back in 2021.

The questioner then asked if he bought shares around current levels would he expect to see a heavily discounted placing a few months later. I think Darren was caught on the hop as he immediately started talking about the strength of the projects and did not answer the question with a immediate no.

Make of it what you will, quite how they are going to fund a drilling programme later this year without raising cash in some form is anyone's guess, the market is dire.

This in my interpretation of what was said and no advice is intended.

An illustration of why you’re going to see an acceleration of investment at earlier stages along the discovery curve by majors and end users.

Junior explorers are heading into a system that will favour them by a magnitude not currently understood.

'In November 2022, Fulcrum engaged Dr Francis Murphy of Murphy Geological Services ("MGS"), an industry leader in satellite structural interpretation, to define the structural framework of the Big Bear and Jackfish properties and generate targets for gold exploration within the properties (see Figure 1). MGS specialise in the application of structural techniques to determine the controls on mineralisation and the generation of predictive models that can be used to identify new exploration targets.

-- This MGS study has identified 42 priority exploration targets within the two properties; 24 targets within the Big Bear Property; and 18 in the Jackfish Property, with 14 in total (9 on Big Bear and 5 on Jackfish) being ranked as High Priority for fieldwork follow-up.

-- The MGS targets are based on a number of criteria including the presence of major shears, shear intersections, inflections and splays along shears, prominent aeromagnetic lineaments, proximity to sheared lithological contacts, presence of known mineral occurrences and anomalous values from soil and rock samples.

-- At Big Bear Property the integration of the structural interpretation with the previous airborne magnetic survey shows a very good correlation between:

o The lineaments on the aeromagnetic data for the Big Bear Property; and

o High Priority 1 Target 'BB10' (see Figure 2 below) and the interpreted structure in the Schreiber Pyramid area with several high-grade gold in rock samples of up to 45g/t Au (as reported by Fulcrum on 2 March 2023).

The corelation will be further appraised for the Big Bear Property when results of the additional planned airborne surveying are received (Fulcrum RNS dated 16 March 2023).

-- At Jackfish Property - High Priority 1 Target 'JFL17' (see Figure 3 below) corroborates previous 2021 exploration work which identified widespread mineralisation with high grade gold in rock samples of up to 39.8g/t Au.

-- Fulcrum report they are currently planning follow-up fieldwork to ground check several of the high priority targets, commencing as soon as ground conditions allow.'
