Summary

-- Fulcrum report the results of a prospecting programme at the Big Bear property part of their Schreiber-Hemlo Project. Work focussed on geological structural mapping and sampling centred around the Schreiber area covering known mineral occurrences and historical gold workings.
-- A total of 45 rock samples were collected for assay, with results confirming the gold prospectivity of the property, including some exceptional high-grade results:

o Highest grade samples returned gold assay results of 45g/t Au, 37.4g/t Au and 33.6g/t Au respectively. Five samples returned gold grades in excess of 10g/t Au whilst a further 9 samples returned in excess of 1g/t Au.

-- Completed detailed geological mapping of important shear zones with the potential for the discovery and development of an economic mineral deposit. Initial structural observations between the Cook Lake and the Schreiber Pyramid gold occurrences, together with previous Panther Metals soil sampling results, from have identified a potential regional-scale shear zone forming a single mineralised structural system.

-- Based on the geological and structural work, Fulcrum considers Big Bear may have potential to host both a large, structurally controlled stratabound, banded iron-formation style gold mineralisation similar to the Musselwhite deposit, as well as an Archean Greenstone orogenic-style lode gold mineralisation.

xow I think the money available in Canada is flow through as they call it.

CHF said they were going to use the same route but it never materialised.

I didn't get that the stewardship of Mantaro was going to be good for Palm. Again we were told it would be as past of his argument that Palm wouldn't be impacted but could give no details.

Just have to keep our fingers crossed that this year isn't as bad as last.

Agreed. If he thought the drill results were misunderstood he should issue another RNS explaining why they are better than perceived.

I don't understand why he wouldn't share the strategy. We own all the licences so all we need to do is get good drill results, raise funds and produce, all of which are under our control, though not sure we could get debt funding for it without fantastic assays in these markets without CLN's which are massively dilutive.

Not sure what any competitor / financier could do about any of that even if they knew the strategy.

Can't see a reason for him to be so cagey, other than a transaction of some kind (asset swap/takeover/merger?).

He was very bullish on the ability to raise funds via the TSX as our assets in Canada are all 100% held through a Canadian subsidiary.

Yes that was my take xow. He is inside on something but we have no clue to what it is or whether it will be share price enhancing.
We are still trusting Darren with a lot rather than being confident in our holdings I feel.

Problem is Darren is in a close period and it isn't to do with the annual financial statements (as he could have simply said so), so they are working on something else. It isn't a fund raise so that leaves a transaction of some kind.

Thought the Telegram talk yesterday was a lot of bluster as he didn't really say anything meaningful, other than drill results were misunderstood by the market (communication issue?) and they weren't raising at these price levels.

I think it should be on stockbox at some stage danmart.
Seems daft to sell now so I would think hard about that decision but I get it. Shareholders were looking for a bit of clarity yesterday and I think he came up short unfortunately.

wrtmf it was a mistake allowing Coglia to go into the subsidiary company and thus just leaving us with pure unknown exploration targets.
It was always going to be tough in hindsight when we didn't hit the pay dirt.
But that is what we are left to pin our hopes on. We may have a vms camp but we don't have anything of commerciality.
Darren set himself up to only raise the bits he thought we needed as he went along but then pulled the rip cord on that manta at the worst time.

i wonder how things would have gone if darren raised more earlier to push on in laverton during the long delay for permits at big bear. was it ever established whether first nation didn't want to work with panther and any [drill permit applicn] objections were lifted once they got the nod a change of ownership was imminent? or am i imagining that?

what might have been - success at big bear and laverton under just the london listing.
