panther metals could get very big....

Analyst Howard Klein calls battery metals “one of the best secular investment themes of our time”.

“Like Tesla several years ago, retail investors who educate themselves about this sector generally and individual companies specifically have an opportunity to accumulate life-transforming wealth,” he says.

“Life-transforming wealth.”

That type of affirmation makes us very excited to announce Battery Metals as the focus of the inaugural edition in our Investor Guides series.

Over the coming months we will publish more guides in the series with a view to educating readers of Stockhead and The Australian about the most exciting and emerging sectors on the ASX.

Often a good time to get in after the placing has happened or agreed.

Whilst sentiment is low.

IMO

we will see, anything under 5.5p is a buy and hold. Warrants at 8.5p so no worry on them selling early and at 20p they have to use them. Well target 8p in a medium term outlook. Work a few thousand punt IMHO.

I have been listening to ' financial sense ' ...a great site ...which has given me a renewed interest in the gold miners.
Of course we have the copper interest, too, here.

Inflation and interest rate rises will lead to more interest I think.

It's July and that's current for a mining company!

I'm refreshing myself for any recent news.
It helps for potential new people coming in I have found.
Obviously you don't have to read it.

As i said. If he hits a meaningful intersect. It might be a placing. But £1m doesnt get you far exploring and will run out quickly for a drilling explorer.Lets wait and see what happens. He sounds like he has a plan, but 5p would have had me salivating if it wasn't for the new shares issues and warrants.

I think as long as you're prepared to wait.
I want in before the smart money arrives ....you do what you like.
A good tme to get a stock is after they've just had a placing.
As it was 5.5 anyone getting in now is getting in even cheaper.

8-)

Yes he has crushed it and played it all wrong.
All well and good just raising when you need it if you are going to stick by it. But that has left us short at the bottom of the market.
If he was always going to change his modus operandi at the first hurdle then he should have loaded up when we were well above 10p. Unpalatable it would have been at the time but nowhere near as much as now especially with having to lump warrants on as a sweetener.
Hindsight, yes a little but surely he always knew this scenario was possible with the markets and should have dealt with it accordingly.

It's getting hammered on the bid.ECR and UFO... Both excellent examples of what a rampy doodle CEO can do.

Unless the drill results hit the jackpot this could be hanging around sub 6p for a long time. I hope I am wrong but junior explorers history of poor cheap placings with large dilution and skip full of cheap warrants are not great. Look at UFO and ECR to name but two.

In addition to the number of shares being amended, the last paragraph of the first section of the RNS changed. I think the difference between 94.1MM and the new figure of 92.2MM is the 1,920,000 referred to

From
The Company will seek convene a general meeting shortly to seek new authorities to allot shares generally (given that the Placing utilises the authorities taken at the last annual general meeting in full) and for specific authority to allot a further 1,920,000 shares pursuant to the exercise of the Warrants to be issued in connection with the Placing.

To
The Company will issue the Placing Shares, and any new shares on exercise of the Warrants, using the authorities granted at the last annual general meeting.

A subdued Hazlewood, a long way from the bullish 2021 statement, no "watch this space" anymore.

At the Proactive event on 28th January 2021 the theme was about funding so many projects, Ms Lowther asked that question, in reply Hazlewood immediately answered "watch this space" seemingly implying that funding would not be via equity but by other means.

Well lo and behold, only a few months later, there was a small placing and another in September - it would have been more reasonable to say at the time that all exploration companies need to raise via equity and be open and honest.

I recall posting the shares were an avoid and was ridiculed, well it costs to be stupid, the more stupid you are the more it costs - as proven today.

Replacement RNS. Got the dilution figure wrong and the total shares in issue wrong, again :-/
