bigdazzler accuses me of 'dangerous ramping talk' positing £10 a share value. Perhaps you'd like to follow the link in Pro's Plusone coins post at

This is the conclusion to a closely argued paper by Contrarian, with oil at $80 a barrel.

'Pantheon Resources’ projects are shaping up to be the most significant projects on the
Alaska North Slope since the discovery of Prudhoe Bay in the 1960s. Based on comparable
projects, I estimate that the company’s projects have more than 16B of barrels of OIP, over 7B
barrels of oil recoverable, and a NPV of almost $54B. At an acquisition price of $5 per barrel
(compared to a $7.05 per barrel NPV), the farmout price for the company’s assets will be
$38.305B. That is approximately a 4,039% upside (with all warrants, options outstanding, and
convertible debt being converted into shares, which is conservative, total shares outstanding used
is 826.3M) from today’s $1.12 stock price within less than 3 years – an absolutely incredible
return.'

$38.3bn is a little over £28bn, 27 times what we are currently worth, ie >£37 a share. He worked it at ultimately 7bn recoverable. If we scale that back to 2.2bn recoverable, the current conservative estimate, we'd get to almost £12 a share.

In the circumstances, £10 a share barely reaches the level of ramping and I don't see how on earth it could be describe as dangerous.

Is it true that the weather at the TW location has been more severe / cold of late - to the extent that it would interfere with operations?

A quick word of thanks to our Directors, they played a blinder keeping tight hold on 100% of the shares - whatever they were offered last year would need to be increased By a factor of 10 to do a farm in now, imho, GLA

I spent 40 years working in the I.T. business, thinking logically!

If folk are convinced there’s a relationship between a company in Texas with 200m shares in issue and another company in Alaska with 750m shares in issue then that’s fine by me, just don’t expect me to agree. The only common denominator is a few of the Board, and a few common shareholders!

micheal you think about it too logically you will be suprised how many people buy just based on resistance and support levels

£5 a share would be something of a disappointment. £10 is a bit nearer the mark.

Lots of angst regarding reservoir thicknesses… rather insignificant if porosity improves by 5-10% etc. Too many variables in play , let’s get it tested and proven to flow commercially. After that, whether PANR is bought out at £5.00 or £5.32 etc. will serve us all reasonably well.

You miss my point Johnswan, we don't know they modelled the resource figure using the 1300ft. Today's in line with modelling suggest not.

Clearly not conservative enough in terms of expected reservoir thickness Rabito.

Anyway, people shouldn't get too hung up on this point. Today's news represents a significant derisking event.

Johnswan, and other panto villains, I think I'll wait for a geologist view of the potential and repeat my view that there can be as yet no revision to the size of the Theta West reservoirs.

Johnswan, there may well be a difference with what was said in the webinar and what was modelled. Pantheon's modelling seems to be on the conservative side historically. Today's guidance was that parameters were in line with modelling.

2022 will be the year. That's kind of you. I look at the chart to suggest the potential share price movement. In any jump within parameters of previous share price movement, there is a tendency to meet resistance and fallback to support. These are simply levels where the share price has previously gone to. Here we can see the area of resistance and support between 137 and 155, shaded in the chart below. You might argue that support falls further to 131 and technically is correct but that was comfortably exceeded on the previous push, so I think it reasonable to pose a new line at c 137.

This morning we did not proceed far beyond 145, which is indicated in the middle of that zone. It may be a bit much to ask that we exceed 155 without the flow test results but we are likely to test and possibly exceed this area with subsequent news from the Talitha tests.

On confirmation of good flow test results from Theta West, I think we should expect a substantial leap to 180 and beyond. After that, we're into new territory only limited by better estimation of the value of the total resources.
