ngms27 - LWD point noted.

Worth recalling, everyone, that Bob confirmed in the August '21 webinar PANR intended to use AHS Baker Hughes when drilling future wells. My understanding is Bob has kept his word. So we have ngms27's LWD point *and* the ongoing presence of VAS technicians at Theta West. If the drill had not encountered oil shows by now, we would have known about it. Debate over as far as my *personal* risk assessment is concerned on that precise scenario.

NGMS - nice try! Missed the boat have you 😂. Oh I forgot you own a billion shares but you just like to put doubt into shareholders minds because you take a balanced view

They may have gone super heavy with the mud given the expectations at Theta West and in such a scenario one wouldn't get oil on the shakers. Seen this many many times.

However I expect they are using LWD ;)

Theta West could be water wet for the following reasons:
1) The reservoir is compartmentalised and there are none sealing faults affecting the Theta West location
2) The seismic model is completely wrong and the BFF isn't present at Theta West

Odds, less than 1% IMHO

Bigger risk is reservoir quality affected through diagenetic processes.

Personally in my opinion it's going to be a slam dunk.

Officer Digby - you were booted off the Guild because you deserved it.

Now, to address your perfectly reasonable questions. To help you along in understanding the risk of the bullseye being "mainly water" and the other scenarios you described, I'd suggest looking up the definition of 'updip' and 'downdip' within an oil reservoir context. Then investigate how oil behaves in the presence of water.

Take that acquired knowledge and have another listen to the August '21 or January '22 webinar where the presenters explain the relative depths of the BFF Lower reservoir at Talitha v's Theta West.

Jay, Bob and Tele were not, IMO, lying or gilding the lily when each commented separately on the results of the BFF Lower flow test yesterday. The central message from all three was that the results were better than expected and that the result from this distal location (look up "distal" within an O&G context too) de-risks the flow test at the 'bullseye' at the Theta West location. On the balance of probabilities, I cannot fault any of those comments. NB. These three people have forgotten more about O&G than I could learn in a lifetime.

It's *not* a guarantee, but following yesterday's news the odds have moved in shareholders' favour. There is no question in my mind that this is the key takeaway from yesterday's RNS. No doubt whatsoever. Trust the above helps.

I think it was buying, classic buying after a strong rise with a pull back and profit taking a few hours later. That 130p will probably be the high for a few days or longer now as the share price retrenches ready for the next leg up on positive news. Still a waiting game on Theta West.

Pantheon on today's piece in The Times:"Pantheon features in 'The Times' in UK this morning following yesterday's excellent news. One small correction is that operations were ceased at Talitha last April not for safety issues, but because of the onset of Spring weather ending the drill season. $PANR $PTHRF #Alaska" https://t.co/ctAhWaEKAz

Clearly a seller was out in force this morning and single handily pulled the rug from out feet, but as those trades are absorbed has given those thinking they had missed the boat a better chance to get onboard.

How is it time for a breather?
We're at half of WH Ireland/Canaccord's pre drilling targets (180/220)! Stay at 130 and keep going xD
