Basically he saying why waste all that time and effort to clear the well if it's commercial at current rates? Because, despite what the BoD say, it is not commercial at the current rates and will not provide enough cashflow to drill more without equity raises

The directors are known penny share hucksters, the whole set up is a ruse.

Give this time and shorts will get their 10p. There is more chance of Notts Forest winning the league than Alkaid - or any or PANR's acreage - being commercial!

Jaknife - I really can’t believe you just posted what you have. Why can’t a well be economic at current rates with a blockage and when unblocked be even more economical?

Mike - maybe you don't understand portfolio construction? Like essentially every investor, I have an overwhelmingly long portfolio. I try to balance that with a modicum of short positions and preferably those in the fraud / restructuring world. Pantheon will be around for years even if there were no oil in Alaska at all simply because of the support is has in equity markets. Maybe when some of the older hands retire perhaps that support goes with them, I don't know, but it is not say, a Debenhams, Afren, GKP, Intu, Carrillion or Cineworld which were certainties. This is not a high conviction short for me and even if it were it would never get above 5% except for at the final denouement, which as I've said, doesn't exist here.

Cor blimey, guv!

Where are we chart wise?

The share price has risen up to the 10 week moving average and didn't like what it saw and faltered downwards towards the 4 week moving average. All within the bearish ascending flag. A drop below 53p will look ominous. A crux point is arriving in the next week or so. 10p is the target.

Be careful.

A wind-up merchant, neither long nor short. Spouts utter garbage to get a reaction. Best ignored.
