That's rich. Shouldn't you be deleting your posts? You might be leaving a trail of stupidity. There's a blockage. It says so in the RNS. 6 million barrels of oil in place have gone missing. It might be just as easy to lose another 17.

It's all laid out in the RNSs, as ever with Jay it's what's not said which rings the loudest.Schlumberger didn't provide a recovery factor as out of scope (!!)You've zero evidence Alkaid is commercial, but deep down you know this. No recovery factor, no decay curve, no mention of initial CAPEX and ongoing frac / extraction costs ? ? Total mess

What worries me is there is a large amount already priced in given the market cap of 660m.anytging negative will see this get hammered by 70% depending on how bad the news is . I remember far too many shares suffer this fate when one of many possible issues gets announced .

If they had income and revenue elsewhere it would limit that but they don't and that's why this is a binary bet .

Expect next news will be flow testing once the well is cleared but it could also be damage well bore and redrill ,both of which wouldn't be good news .

I tend to agree with ameretto this might catch a lot of people out . Good luck if it comes good but this would be a small specialties punt for me only and even then I would be nervous holding it

This is high risk no matter how you like to look at it . Until the well flows and drop off rates can be seen it's a total unknown.

Far touch of a binary bet to be a safe investment .

Downgrade of resources and none of them confirmed hydrocarbons in reality
I have seen things like this go badly wrong before any number of factors compartmentalisation ,blockages,water etc all are in okay until this flows for months and we see the drop off rate.
Anyone co fifent at this point is simply a gambler and unable to admit it .
