Time for another reminder...

To all newcomers on this thread,

The Pantheon Resources GUILD is now what this thread used to be.

The GUILD is a very lightly moderated board where well informed / well researched, often O&G industry expert, posters share their perspectives on Pantheon's prospects.
Obviously, Guild members do have occasional disagreements but they soon settle.

For a link to this Pro-free haven, see Swendab1's recent post (no. 28973).

May I strongly suggest that anyone new to Advfn's Pantheon (PANR) related bulletin boards be very wary of boards other than the GUILD which are dominated by Pro-s2009 for his bad acting purposes.

Good Luck to you all.

Edit:
Obviously, pro_s2009's comments in huge grey boxes at the top of this thread (which he pays himself PlusOne coins in order to keep there - very sad, isn't it?) are his attempt to control this thread too.
So, again, Beware !
Old hands on this thread already know what pro-s2009 is. So, they're safe

Yeah! I would like to join the guild as well. Is there a uniform? Or a handshake? It all sounds so secretive and exciting.

Be careful.

dhb368, tbh I think the chances of success are higher than that. Depends of course on our definition of success. Unlikely on the Guild said:

'slide 9 of the May presentation, you find that Pantheon's estimate for initial production from an 8,000 ft lateral was 1200 bopd. That in itself is conservative compared to the estimates from Joshi and Babu (1,659 - 2,221).

If we assume the rate reduces proportionally to length that would give us ca. 800 bopd for 5,300. Probably the shorter lateral would give a bit more than that ......

The wild card is that this was based on the results from Alkaid 1, and JC & BR have stated that the reservoir parameters at Alkaid 2 are much better. How much better has not been quantified as yet. Means that 800 could be taken as a base line.
I seem to recall seeing that anything over 600 will be commercial, depending on the decline curve - not sure of the source for that.'

They'll have about 34 holes in that mile long lateral. So long as the frack is successful and there's no problems with the pipe, 800 bopd doesn't seem too demanding. But hey, wtfdik!

Helpfull, I don't want to diminish your TA input, but the thing to careful of here is the results of the Alkaid #2 horizontal.

Based upon the Alkaid #1 data the chance of success has been estimated at around 80% by someone regarded very highly, has a very impressive CV and has seen more data than is publicly available. Consensus of broker analysts is that success is more likely than not. Lets not forget that Alkaid #1 has flowed already.

Admittedly Peel Hunts analyst considers success less likely.

Consider that the data from Alkaid #2 indicates more reservoir depth and better reservoir quality and you might understand why a lot of holders consider the risk/reward at these levels to be very good.

25% chance of dropping below 60p, 75% chance of blowing through 200p. I wouldn't bet against >300p after FOMO kicks in or 30 days of flow.

As someone else recently pointed out, there is the beginnings of an inverted head and shoulders chart pattern working out. The target, if it completes - which we hope good news will provide - is 205p.

FWIW I see no double top.

Helpfull,

It is very interesting that you've turned up again at around the same time as "JakNife" who's input is always dire and useless.

Your chart insights are really useful - just brilliant ;-)
How have we got this far without your valuable input?

There's a fantastic double top forming on the chart dragging the share price down to the 80-90p region.

Be careful.
