Not really, how quickly the SMD at Talitha "blocked" is a potential big red flag imo.

There are lots of extrapolated figures around the AIM market. AIM companies get away with this, some unscrupulous ones will flow test for 30 minutes and then claim "flowed at up to rates of XXX bopd" in ther RNS........ but of course it never did flow for more than a few minutes.........but they give the impression of "days" with a bopd figure.

As I said, if only they had, in 2021, done what they said they would, and done a small horizontal at Talitha.

That they avoided doing it (did Great Bear in the past also promise small horizontals in 2012 onwards.....but never did ?) of course raises eyebrows.

Ah, okay so it's the whole scientific community you are questioning not just Pantheon. What's science done for us eh Pro.I will take it from your response you have no modelling to contradict that done by LKA et al. So more bluff and bluster.Makes me wonder what data you use for any of your tipped oil explorers. I mean it could all be wrong. Strange you were requesting a cCOS for the plays. I would imagine you need to science to work that out. Deary me Pro this is desperate stuff indeed, both funny and sad at the same time.

Rabito, do you have any evidence the modelling done by them is correct ?

I seem to remember that the scientific community agreed the world was flat, until of course they were proven wrong.

As you openly say its "modelling" and it may be completely and utterly wrong, as of course many models are.

Had PANR done the small horiztonal at Talitha that they promised in 2021, they might have some valid data.

Some people suggest this is the "Hail Mary"........last chance saloon - finally going to try it, knowing it quite possibly will have a very high decline rate which will kill all interest in the area for now.

Ask yourself........why did these license areas come into the hands of 88E and PANR ???

Because the big boys dont think its commercial, or only very small patches of it might be borerline commercial ???

Which would explain why PANR have been unable to farm out............perhaps.

People may think this Pro, but I note none of the naysayers have produced any industry recognised modelling which supports this point? Can you provide such modelling to support your thesis and dispute the outcome of that done by Pantheon, LKA, NSI Fracturing?

Because they have so far not had any "commercial" flow rates. Thats why they have zero production and ZERO reserves.

Whilst it is possble to flow oil, many people consider that the draining area per well will be very small, and the wells will block very quickly. The "decline rate"........

Now if the decline rate is very quick, as many expect it will be, what happens is :

The amount of oil recovered per well is less than, or equal to, or only slughtly over the cost of each well.

This means for example if you invest 1 Billion dollars of capital cost, you might get 1 Billion and 100 dollars back.

A terrible Rreturn On Investment. This is what kills "stranded oil" or "unattractive oil" accumulations.

Nobody is denying that the oil in place is there - the big argument is can you actually make any money from it, or is the decline rate so fast that its just pointless trying to extract it.

Alkaid-2 will answer this question - if Alkaid-2 does not flow - or if Alkaid-2 flows for 1 month only and then clogs up or chokes up.......this will prove what many suspect - the oil is not "commercially" recoverable.

Pro, you're missing the big picture. Which is that in 5 years time the company will be worth £23 billion. Some 25 times greater than its current value. Why? Because they have proved they can flow oil from all their reservoirs with the exception yet of the SMD. So all they have to do now is do the same again but on a bigger scale. With profit margins of around £10/barrel at least with today's prices, they will be pulling oil out that is worth 2.3 billion barrels times that £10/barrel. What is so difficult to understand about that? PANR has all the characteristics of an undervalued huge growth investment.

I said a few weeks ago that I had reached my target holding but if the persistent seller takes it below £1 I'll be forced to add. It's just a case of timing.

PANR not overvalued ?

I read that Telegraph article and I thought that it mainly concerned growth stocks that (were) on a high multiple. And the American markets in general. I don't think UK stocks are at such a risk of major decline for the simple reason they are not generally overvalued to begin with. PANR is certainly not overvalued. Yes we can sell - but who wants to be holding cash in a 9%+ inflationary environment and near-zero interest rates?

Forget pro_s2009; forget ngms27; forget johnswan193; forget officerdigby; (even forget our resident ‘lemmings & mushrooms’ man). The huge question for me is: can our lovely little share (however good the test results from Alkaid 2) hold up against this sort of world markets rout? I speak as a substantial PANR LTH. Have I sold any? No! Why not? Because I'm chicken combined, I guess, with the characteristics of an eternal optimist.
