15/2/2022 08:29 | I recon we'll be closer to £2.50 | sirmark
15/2/2022 08:29 | The thing I keep shaking my head at in disbelief is that even with the big rise so far in the SP, and even with a good rise today, this is still sooooo cheap!Doing the sums, even before we get confirmation of the flow rates, the share price could be double (and I fully expect it to be in due course!) and it would still be a bargain. No wonder folk are piling in today! | soggy
15/2/2022 08:29 | now up 13% | bit coin
15/2/2022 08:26 | 200p on flow test or pre flow test? | stockhunters

15/2/2022 08:20 | First pass from WH Ireland, dated 15/2/22. "Pantheon Resources (PANR) – Corporate – Theta West #1 Drilling Completed Market Cap £929m Share Price 124.4p Pantheon Resources announced that it has completed drilling operations at the Theta West #1 well having reached a total depth in line with expectations (8,450 feet). The company indicated that it acquired good data via the logging while drilling tool and that it collected drill cuttings for Volatile Analysis (by AHS/Baker Hugues). The company indicated that extremely cold conditions (-55°C with wind chill) prevented open hole wireline logging and coring. The company indicated that it is now casing the well and that it will be flow tested (LBFF and UBFF) over the coming weeks. WHI View: We believe the suite of logs from the logging while drilling tool will be of a high quality and really cover the key data points one would hope to acquire from a well (resistivity, gamma ray, neutron density & formation density). The volatile analysis will be key and much more important than coring would have been given the scale of the vertical column that must be tested – 1,160 feet of gross hydrocarbon section was confirmed by the well. The results, we believe, confirm pre-drill expectations: The reservoir is of a superior quality than at the Talitha #A location and was 1,500 feet structurally higher (updid) than at Talitha #A. The top of the reservoir (UBFF) was 150’ higher than anticipated, which we believe provides confidence in the geological model and seismic – remember this was drilled 10.5 miles to the northwest of Talitha #A – so quite accurate in our opinion, which is important given the enormity of the resource means confidence in the seismically-derived volumetrics is key. In conclusion: We believe the results announced today are very encouraging. The geological model works, the oil is there, the structures conform with expectations and the reservoir is better than at Talitha #A, as expected." | scot126
15/2/2022 08:19 | In a few weeks with good flow this will be massive ..... just massive "like nothing they've ever seen!" | sirmark

15/2/2022 08:17 | let 10%ers exit and lets see where this sits billion barrels in play now flow test soon | stockhunters
15/2/2022 08:17 | NB - unlike the Kuparuk issues last year at Talitha #A, the "snag" at Theta West is located way above the BFF Upper. Thus the characteristics which gave rise to the "snag" occurred uphole of the oil-bearing column. NB this RNS describes encountering a "snag" on the journey to the destination....the characteristics of the destination itself are as expected. Good stuff. | scot126
15/2/2022 08:15 | As far as the eye can see. Need to use some imagination now to imagine the lake of oil that PANR are now proving up. Prudhoe Bay took years and only got larger, actually much, much larger than the first estimates. A giant oil field next to TAPS when TAPS is pumping at a quarter of its capacity and when oil is close to 100 USD a barrel:)) Reminds me of when GKP went from 80p to 440p, obviously first it went from 12p or so to 80p. | the count of monte_cristo
15/2/2022 08:10 | People taking their 10% on the opening, standard 1st hour trading on positive news. | croxie
15/2/2022 08:08 | How far does the oil field stretch in all directions from this drill? | dan de lion
15/2/2022 08:08 | Potentially one of the largest oil finds in North America....in a world where oil is close to 100 USD a barrel:)) | the count of monte_cristo
15/2/2022 08:07 | The weather everywhere from Canada northwards has been extreme for well over a month now. To be honest, I'm rather surprised and certainly pleased that operations have gone as well as they have. Most impressive in the circumstances! -55 is unspeakable! | hiddendepths
15/2/2022 08:06 | market seems to like it! | croxie
15/2/2022 08:05 | Terrific RNS. Proven up plenty of high quality OIL in the flagship. This is getting exciting!!!!! | jontyfromsa
