23/4/2024 11:07 | Their resource isn't big enough to do vendor financing or developed enough for offtaker finance. Pantheon already commented that our current commercial resources stop to the north of our southern border. Keep helping | rabito79
23/4/2024 09:07 | Cor blimey, guv! I would never have thunk that! 88e. A company that has flowed oil to the surface in Alaska needing to raise cash. Why in the world didn't they go down the vendor finance and offtakers finance route or RBL and avoid dilution? Easy peasy. It is all about keeping the share price as high as possible for the biggie. Why aren't those super majors jumping in? Be careful. | helpfull

22/4/2024 11:37 | Hi Westie. I hope all's well. I rarely post these days, much more of a "lurker".But feeling fairly positive with Hobbs at the helm. GL.D | bigwavedave
22/4/2024 11:20 | Yes Atty, not querying your quoting, just reminding how those might translate into value. Just in case someone reading it may think applying a 5-10$/bbl over best recoverable for boe is correct. | tom218
22/4/2024 11:11 | Hi Tom, Just quoting Bob from the webinar at 45.50 "When you talk about Ahpun you can start talking about, you know, 2 billion barrels of oil equivalent." Ahpun = 2 billion Kodiak High 2.8b per NS plus 11.7 trillion cu ft of gas compared to Bob's throwaway of 5 trillion at Ahpun (45.58sec) So, I remain thinking that the BoD consider they have recoverable reserves of 5+ billion barrels of oil equivalent - yet to be firmed up by IERs, but that is where the BoD expect Kodiak and Ahpun to deliver. Regardless - some stellar share price growth to come. | attyg
22/4/2024 10:36 | Atty, also worth remembering before getting carried away:-the 5 to 10 $/bbl is based on 1C/1P figures- a barrel of oil equivalent (BOE) is based on energy not value, at rate 5.7 Mscf =1boe. So if getting say 1$/Mscf value is approx 6$ not the say $90 one might get for the oil. | tom218
22/4/2024 10:36 | Bought yet more this morning - now way overloaded. I am expecting good news this week and a share price hike. GLA. | bodroll
22/4/2024 10:25 | 'some share price growth...' Just a bit eh? Me, I'm holding this until we are properly valued, this is a life-changer. | michaelsadvfn
22/4/2024 09:50 | It is worthwhile remembering what Bob said on the 10 April webinar - at 45 through to 47 mins Gas has moved from a liability to an asset. It has massive impact on our valuations. When we start talking about Ahpun we are talking about 2 billion barrels of oil equivalent. While, if we look at Slide 18, we see NS quote Best Estimate at Kodiak is 1.2 b barrels of oil and oil equivalents With 4.4 Trillion cu ft of gas. While the High rates are 2.8 b barrels of oil and 11.7 trillion cu ft of gas My understanding is that the BoD expect to be able provide NS with drill data in the future that will enable them to move the High rates towards the Best rates. Clearly management consider the fields will provide more than 5 billion of recoverable oil equivalents. With DH and the Board considering the City should place a value of between $5 and $10 a barrel on the above figures, that provides us with some share price growth over the next few years. | attyg
20/4/2024 11:48 | Hi Spangle and fordtin. I’m not back in yet but things are looking interesting. | freedosh
20/4/2024 10:34 | freedosh!! Hope you are doing well, great to see your name after a decade away. If you've still got my email address, please get in touch. | spangle93
20/4/2024 09:02 | Our leases are on State land, so should have no effect. In addition Biden is supportive of the gas pipeline and (I think) the LNG export facility. | attyg
20/4/2024 08:33 | From todays Independent 'Biden reduces oil drilling in Alaska to save wildlife'. I presume that doesn't affect 'our' position | josully1950 |
