19/1/2022 09:39 | I am expecting the entire BOD to wade in at these giveaway prices. | kemche
19/1/2022 09:35 | Some significant enhancements in the latest version! | david gruen
18/1/2022 19:14 | "Opportunities of OSI's quality do not grow on trees." Unfortunately this one has Dutch Elm disease. | kemche
18/1/2022 18:35 | 2LB, OSI's turnover isn't declining, it's increased in 2021, a year in which many companies have seen their turnover fall. If you can't even get the basics like that right, that why should anyone take you remotely seriously? And here is the record of OSI's annual revenues reported since floating in April 2016: 2015: £290,150 2016: £477,577 2017: £647,580 2018: £957,461 2019: £1,171,586 2020: £1,434,875 I.e. a circa five-fold increase in annual revenue in five years. After the interruption of the pandemic, that trend should resume this year, and another five-fold increase would see annual revenues at c. £7.5M., would should yield millions of profit. Losses of OSI's size are comparatively small for the tech sector, and experienced tech sector investors will know that. They're comparable to those of CCS (Crossword Cybersecurity), which has a market cap. of more than six time's OSI's, with similar revenues. In addition, the CEO's salary isn't out of the ordinary for someone of his ability and experience. If he was being paid £100Ks., as with some other small companies, I would agree with you. Finally, the cliched 'better investments elsewhere' line is a cop-out. What are they?! I agree that there are other good investments out there, and I hold OSI as part of a diversified portfolio, but as it is I have a lot of cash on my account with no good enough home for, while sticking to my diversification rules (i.e. a limit into each share). Opportunities of OSI's quality do not grow on trees. | hedgehog 100
18/1/2022 18:08 | When the cost of your CEO is >15% of your annual turnover, you are declining, and you make thumping losses then one might suggest there are better investment opportunities elsewhere..... | 2lb
18/1/2022 17:31 | "Rupert Hutton CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER Rupert’s most recent deal was while he was working at Artilium Plc and was instrumental in the sale to NYSE listed Pareteum for $104.7 million (or £78.0 million). Rupert previously served for 12 years as Finance Director of AIM-quoted Atlantic Global PLC, a cloud-based project portfolio management software company, before being sold in February 2012 to KeyedIn Solutions, an international, US private equity backed software business based in Bloomington, Minnesota. Rupert’s arly career was served as Group Finance Director of the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce Training and Enterprise. Rupert trained with Grant Thornton and has an AMBA accredited Masters in Business Administration and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants." | hedgehog 100
18/1/2022 17:17 | David, I was responding to the suggestion that someone could buy a large placing-sized stake in OSI on the market. I used the Nigel Wray OTAQ example because it was just a week ago, and in a company with a market cap. of just a few-several million pounds, like OSI. For the uninitiated, Nigel Wray is worth about £100M. I've no reason to think he's involved here, though I don't see why he wouldn't invest here if he had the opportunity. He seems to be a very good judge of investments, and I invested into a couple of companies he was invested in last year - both loss-making incidentally. | hedgehog 100
18/1/2022 17:01 | This one is funny. But maybe you and hog both need to stop throwing your toys out the pram. | novandi
18/1/2022 17:00 | That one must have kept hog up all night. Still a lame put down. | novandi
18/1/2022 16:59 | Can you provide a couple of lines around the Nigel Wray connection for potential new investors please(and me) :-) Much appreciated. | david gruen
18/1/2022 16:56 | "License to Spill more like" Well Nigel Wray, 'The English Buffett', doesn't seem to think so, does he. But I suppose that you, a thick, trolling, pumping-dumping little crook, know better?! | hedgehog 100
18/1/2022 16:51 | You're also, Megasonic, a prime example of the usernames types rule of thumb: The more egotistical-conceite While the more self-depreciating the username, the more intelligent the poster. Check it out, & you'll see what I mean! | hedgehog 100
18/1/2022 16:48 | Double O Sh!t - License to Spill more like | megasonic
18/1/2022 16:47 | Am I missing something? Has the concept of time suddenly disappeared? To say LAST SUMMER that an OSI placing wasn't imminent is in no way inconsistent with saying something different NOW. And to say LAST YEAR, when OSI was rising, that the share price wasn't in freefall, is equally in no way inconsistent with saying something different NOW. You are clearly a brain-dead moron Megasonic. | hedgehog 100
18/1/2022 16:38 | Unrelated?! OTAQ, along with OSI, is one of my 'double O' shares, which should appeal to James Bond fans. Their bullish prospects should provide a real 'licence to thrill' ... or should I say a 'licence to krill' in OTAQ's case! | hedgehog 100
18/1/2022 16:38 | Gotta love it. The guy who said there was no sign of a Placing now says he always knew a Placing was coming. Then he denied OSI share price was in free fall but is now suggesting the share price was in free fall. You could not make this up. BS Artist. | megasonic
18/1/2022 16:30 | And the OTAQ share price was in freefall recently, but look how it's now rebounding, on fairly modest volumes, and with no news. Illiquidity is a double-edged sword, and it cuts both ways. Anyone selling OSI at the current price is selling at a loss, and beyond a few retail punters who bought in about a week ago for a few p higher, there will be very few shares available at this level. Once they're hoovered up, watch this move upwards strongly. | hedgehog 100
18/1/2022 16:28 | 7k bought - Nigel Wray? | kemche
18/1/2022 16:27 | Very apposite. As always. | kemche
18/1/2022 16:27 | TL;DRMore unrelated nonsense from Rampenstein's monster so that must be:BS;DR - Bull Sh!t; Didn't Read | megasonic
18/1/2022 16:21 | This is an example of a buying decent quantity of shares - Nigel Wray has just increased his holding in OTAQ, from 4,576,232 shares to 5,964,868 shares. So it looks like he has bought 1,388,636 shares in the recent placing, at 22p each, = £305,499.92. 11/01/2022 16:45 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Holding(s) in Company LSE:OTAQ Otaq Plc "... 3. Details of person subject to the notification obligation iv Name NIGEL WRAY ... Resulting situation on the date on which threshold was crossed or reached 14.58% 14.58% 4,576,232 ..." So far today, just under 29,000 OSI shares have been traded, for a value of just under £3.3K. I.e. barely 1% of the value of Nigel Wray's recent OTAQ top-up. It doesn't really compare, does it? | hedgehog 100
18/1/2022 16:13 | Quote from hog:-"It's hard to buy decent quantities [of OSI shares] on the market"-===OSI's share price is in free fall. This is not because buyers are snapping up shares. It is because holders are offloading at a time when there is a lack of buyers. Hence yet another deep red day today. And a few more red days should come as no surprise. | megasonic
18/1/2022 16:10 | Classic MM treeshake as they collect cheap shares for the raise at a premium of £1. | kemche |
