Revisiting hoggie's comments from June 2021 when share price was between 20p and 25p:===-"The company raised over £2m just three months ago, so to deramp about another Placing already smacks of desperation on your part"-Pretty sure that does not sound like hoggie was accepting that a Placing would occur. He also went on to say he expected positive news flow in the rest of 2021 and expected the share price to go ever higher. Well we can all see how that played out.

From the thread "MobilityOne - 89% discount - yet still delivering a profit":

megasonic 23 Aug '21 - 14:26 - 1464 of 2292 0 0 0
"Current share price is ridiculously discounted. Picked up some more for just shy of 19p today.
Results expected in about a month so potential for decent gain between now and then. Potential for even greater gain for those willing to sit on their holding for longer than that IMO."

Current MBO s.p.: 11p: a 42% fall from Megasonic's ramp at 19p.

But it looks like it was a pump-&-dump, as he no longer posts on the company.

I think this gives a very clear insight into his mentality, & why he thought I was pumping-&-dumping OSI: i.e. a clear cut case of judging others by his own dishonesty.

And it also gives a clear insight into his agenda here!
Rest assured, someone as unpleasant and dishonest as he is not making all this effort out of sheer philanthropy!

I did indeed post an opinion on the latest RNS last week. I will link my post here. Perhaps hoggie needs to read things properly before jumping to conclusions. If he had done so a few months ago he might not be sat on a loss of more than 60% in OSI.

Megasonic, what is you opinion on OSI's statement on Friday that they have been assessing the Company's go-to-market strategies:

4/01/2022 07:01 UKREG Osirium Technologies PLC Trading Update
" ... David Guyatt, CEO of Osirium, commented:
"We are pleased with the strong growth in customer numbers and high customer retention rates during 2021, which is testament to the need for our offering across a range of sectors and geographies despite the effects of the pandemic upon customer decision making. We expect this customer decision making to return towards normal levels in 2022.
"With a significantly broadened customer base, our teams have the opportunity to focus on upselling and cross-selling in line with our land-and-expand strategy. We have made good progress in the year following a focus on growing our partner network which is yielding results, and we continue to assess the Company's go-to-market strategies to ensure the Group remains well-positioned to capture the substantial market opportunity available. I look forward to providing a full update to shareholders at the final results later in the year." ..."

Do you agree that this could be a prelude to a takeover?

And if OSI is acquired in the near term, what is your prediction as to the takeover price?

P.S. I've always accepted the need for another placing here, if the company wasn't taken over first. But I think we've already established that your a liar, haven't we!

So when I suggested nine months ago OSI would require a Placing in less than 12 months hoggie got upset and called me a deramper. Now hogzilla accepts a Placing is inevitable and has gone one further than me by suggesting "periodic Placings are part of the business model" for OSI. To me it sounds like hogster realises that the next Placing is unlikely to be the last for OSI. Cue further share pool dilution.

Well, selling your company for big money can be part of the business model as well!

"David Guyatt
CO-FOUNDER AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Co-founder of Osirium, the management team is led by David Guyatt, who has over 30 years’ experience in turning next generation IT products into successful technology businesses. He is a recognised pioneer in establishing the content security software market, being a co-founder and CEO of the Content Technologies group, which created MIMEsweeper and became the recognised world leader in content security solutions, with a 40 per cent global market share, and was sold for $1Bn within 5 years, the largest European cyber security acquisition at the time.

Previously, David was Sales & Marketing Director at Integralis from 1990 to 1996, as it established itself as Europe’s leading IT security integrator - now part of the NTT group."

"periodic placings are part of the business model."

Is that the only part of the business model or are there any other parts too?

kemche

For a development-stage company like OSI, periodic placings are part of the business model.

I don't have a problem with that, and this is a situation like STAR last Autumn, which on 22nd. October last year placed at a big premium, which sent the share price soaring.

The majority of the debt is convertible loan notes that aren't due for years (2024), with a conversion price of 40p per share.

Indeed, even OSI chart is heading upwards. It just depends on your perspective you know. Just flip that chart upside down and you will see what hoggie means.

So, just to confirm, hoggie now agrees that OSI does not have £2.9m in current assets but does in fact have £700k only. And still carrying £4m of liabilities.

"why isn't he posting about any of my share that are going up today?!"

Because they are always going up. I cannot recall a time when they went down.

And Amazon of course.

Considering how some related companies have been doing over the last year or two, a placing at multiples of the current share price isn't impossible.

Look at Corero Network Security (CNS), which early last year had risen well over four-fold in under a year (3.6p to 16p), despite making big losses.
Currently 12.35p, market capitalisation £61.11 million.

13/04/2021 07:00 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Corero Network Security PLC Full year results LSE:CNS Corero Network Security Plc
"Corero Network Security plc (AIM: CNS), a leading provider of real-time high-performance, automatic Distributed Denial of Service ('DDoS') cyber defense solutions, announces its audited results for year ended 31 December 2020. ...
Revenues increased 74% to $16.9 million (2019: $9.7 million) ...
Loss before taxation of $4.0 million (2019: loss of $6.6 million) ..."

"A < 4 Million Market Cap Cyber Security company which boasts a place on the Gartner Magic Quadrant is laughable. Forget technicals, forget placings, this potentially has 100 bags in it."

OSI holds seven patents that could be a key to tackling the ransomware plague.

It's software research and development has cost about £13M. over about the last decade.

But its real worth could be multiples of that.

Just referring back to hedgehog's question to me in post 183 from six months ago when share price was 20-25p:-"why exactly do you think that the share price will fall rather than rise, when all commonsense and logic suggests that it will rise?"-===Ah yes, common sense and logic must have had a knees up with Hogrates the Hi and Gandalf the Green over a cracked pipe and herbal tea where they all agreed OSI would rise like Mordor. Seeing the OSI six month chart since then would have sobered three of them up. Evidently it is Hogrates who has yet to return to sobriety. ===When it comes to OSI, I believe my old chum - the never knowingly under-ramped hogzilla - has achieved the incredible feat of being 100% wrong 100% of the time: share price is in free fall; Placing seems imminent; his much touted "one contract to rule them all" has still not materialised; Edison Research have forecast OSI will not turn a profit for at least a couple years; STILL no sign OSI is the next Amazon (funny that one).===Bravo, bravo. Perhaps hog-goblin ought to take a page out of Sauron's book and disappear into DARKness.
