26/10/2016 09:16 | why dont you just answer the question? | bared_bones
26/10/2016 09:16 | I've said in the past, to make any money in these, any spike in share price in these should be sold into... | grannyboy
26/10/2016 09:11 | how is it obvious granny?? Please explain as your wise words of wisdom will help us all identify such unscrupulous behaviour on other boards.... | bared_bones
26/10/2016 09:06 | So has held up well. Rather like over at NUOG. One to watch is KENV. Can't buy a bean there without NT | guyswonga74
26/10/2016 09:05 | Any comments made on this forum are swamped (x50) by those on LSE and hardly affect the share price. | bigalan3
26/10/2016 09:02 | Its been a pumping of the share price to get another placing away, and is obvious that some posters on here work for bucket shop spivs.. | grannyboy
26/10/2016 08:59 | Yes AB has moved quick off the back of this share price rise and fair play got that placing out quick. They dont really need working capital since previous placing so imagine this will go into more investment. Still hoping the Slovak President makes a guest appearance at the AGM ;-) | bared_bones
26/10/2016 08:47 | Placing is small @ 10% enlargement of market cap which is c100% below unerlying value of investments ex Kremnica. Good move to raise capital at a higher price as the share recovers to minimise forward dilution. We may also see further investments in the African assets. | highly geared
26/10/2016 08:36 | Now .05 to buy on Barclays. Volume 102 million | 888icb
26/10/2016 08:21 | You can buy right now at the same price as the placing so same deal available to all. | 888icb
26/10/2016 07:54 | RNS placing to raise £300000 @.04 with a Director taking 10% of the placing. The attached warrants are exercisable @.055. Seems not a bad price to raise additional working capital. | 888icb
26/10/2016 07:51 | £300k raised at 0.04p. Might see a pull back toward the placing place but positive in securing funds for ongoing investments and working capital. Anthony Balme maintains shareholding %. Enlarged share capital is still well below value of investments so a strengthened balance sheet will support them for the foreseeable future. | highly geared
25/10/2016 23:31 | I started back with shares in March having avoided the market for 3 years. I tend to trade a bit much and sell on the first signs of weakness. With Omi I bought 90k shares at 8p and sold around 18p . I've traded Aaz from 4.75p and made about £8k there. In hindsight I should have held and sold today for 32p and a gain of £25k! The market appears to be giving a signal- the gold price pull back from $1370 to $1250 has seen hardly any significant fall in the juniors. Gold is now trying to get back above the 200 day SMA, against a back drop of a " confirmed " USA rate rise in December. This appears to indicate the market wants gold to go higher into 2017 as the worlds economic problems rear up again with central banks out of ammunition. OTC looks a good buy based on the v small market cap, the discount to asset value of investments, nil value in for Kremnica and buying by Anthony Balme. | highly geared
25/10/2016 22:01 | Thanks for your input HG.I nearly had a punt with OMI early this year when they touched around 4p but I would have been risking a few more grand at a time they were either going to go bust or multi bag.Oh for a crystal ball, hey. | overdale123
25/10/2016 20:08 | Overdale, in 2008-9 I made some decent money ( enough to pay the mortgage off 6 years early) but bought holdings in my Sipp that I failed to sell as the market fell. I lost a substantial sum and am sitting on a number of bombed out miners that have diluted to oblivion to survive. However, I'm determined to get it all back. Commodities are cyclical, ditto sentiment. Regardless of whether a stock has crashed 95%, if its assets sit well against its market cap, prospects look good and directors have skin in the game,an investment at rock bottom unloved prices might just be a shrewd move that puts one on the road to recovery/redemption. OTC looks promising and remember what early stage investors made who rode the 2008-10 boom. We are 6 years on and the next up cycle is starting. | highly geared
25/10/2016 18:12 | Excellent day well done all the ltr's who've hung on and some whove added and the newbies whove seen the value. The hardest thing is to hold your nerve as a company re-values. Without Slovakia assets I reckon this is worth in the a 0.1/0.2p area so 100% from here. With Slovakia being brought slowly back into the fold with near surface mining hopefully and onto full mining in the near future, last bit speculation but AGM in Slovakia is hardly coincidence!. So - Add £5/£8m for conservative mk cap or £50m for optimistic value. Ultimately i think between 0.05p and 0.1p there is little doubt about the underlying investment value of OTC. Feel free to shoot me down. KM | kiwimonk
25/10/2016 17:53 | Barclays is now showing the volume as 865 million. | 888icb
25/10/2016 17:53 | Wish I had the bottle to average down, here and elsewhere such as OMI but after making a few quid in 2012 I've been absolutely battered since early 2013. Everything staying in bottom draw with a prayer. ? | overdale123
25/10/2016 17:22 | Yes, we need another 100% just to get to " fair value". That the allows zero spec value for Kremnica. I reckon the administrative hurdles are being over come to enable small scale commercial mining to recommence from Q1-2 2017. I think there will then be a period of OTC working to show the locals the mine is not an environmental risk and will add to local economy. I see local/ regional issues being addressed and full scale mining sometime 2018. Ignoring previous NPV and assiming a value of $50/ oz in the ground, the c. 1 million measured/ indicated resource adds up to £40 million value. This excludes any increase in the African investments. The junior sector is waking up again and thr bombed out micro caps are stirring. Will be interesting to see if the gains from AAZ arrive here or in GGP, another micro cap with savvy investors/ backers and an interesting portfolio. | highly geared
25/10/2016 17:03 | Volume at the end of the day was 775 million which is more than 10% of the shares in issue. UP another 18% with buying into the close which bodes well for tomorrow. Market Cap £3.4 million | 888icb
25/10/2016 16:44 | Yep. I agree. Strong close also, most of the September placing shares will have been cleared in that volume so blue sky's ahead once we break 0.05p tomorrow. I expect big buying from the bell tomorrow | guyswonga74
25/10/2016 15:38 | Wonga Agree that all of balmes shares are tightly held. And I would add that a good 8/10% more of the free float will now be in LT hands. Diminishing the free float further. KM | kiwimonk
25/10/2016 15:34 | Volume now 729 million UP 12.5% | 888icb
25/10/2016 14:40 | Looks like we could be heading at speed to a market cap of £8m which is still undervalued given the various projects. Slovakia alone would be circa £20m with full permission granted. | ianbag |
