Newmont effect 80p - £1 base. It then puts omi on Par with what the market valued Ggp at with the expectation of a Newmont deal. Omi deal with Newmont takes them all the at to production and fills the omi coffers in the mean time.

The deal basically funds OMI for the next 2 years whist San Gregorio is on care and maintenance during a weak gold price environment.
It funds Anza development to the tune of $10 million; this will take it to advanced delineation drilling and NI 43-101 resource.

It's a brilliant deal with Newmont taking considerable risk and paying OMI $2 million in the first 2 years.

Why would they do that; you don't just elect to spend $10 million on drilling unless you've very good intelligence on the prospectivity etc.

Will be interesting come 2021 and beyond (when the next crisis has hit and gold rockets again)as to how this looks.

OMI essentially getting a free carry and what price if they have 25% of a 5 million oz NI 43-101 come 2022 with gold somewhere between $1500-2000/oz....

Based on the deal and the prospects of Anza , a £10-15 million market cap doesn't seem unreasonable. Look at the ridiculous market cap GGP achieved based on rock chip samples and air borne surveys at Ernest Giles ....
