FYI MisterPositive 12,667 postsRE: .Solgold flourished after Newcrest took initial stake there to fund Cascabel....jumping from 1p to 46p. Read RNS in detail last night and noticed that our advisor was same as the one who introduced NewCrest to Solgold....Maxit Capital. OMI looks to be SOLG 2...

Could you buy a lot in the low 4's yesterday? How hard was it to buy?

Cannot take credit for this but well worth reading the posts from EYEGUY on LSE. No ramps just sheer facts. Latest post is

That missed it this is the neighbouring deposit 50km north.

Now look at this;

Both on mid - cauca gold belt.
Then note how the project is named as continentals flagship and how continental have a market cap of $60” million compared to £8million or so here. And note how Newmont will be spending the money and omi to get dragged up the value curved without being diluted. And can free carry at the end to production.
Big rise coming imo. Dyor

Moving .....should break 6p and when it does, this will be very bullish in breaking the highs from yesterday. As I said above, this should be up to anywhere at 30p per unit.

To get in below what Newmont paid in my opinion is a no brainer. I had a feeling the stock would get snapped up this morning. No way this can be this low when the project next door has an Npv of $600 million and the company who own it have an mcap the same. They already have proven their is a huge amount of gold there. Now holding about 9 grands worth. Should be 20-30p I reckon.

yes i agree..they get their money back when the share price rockets, its one big con really to make the 'bergs' rich...lifes easy when you control the markets as well...can see this doing a solgold 2p to 50p pretty quickly now

Last placing in here was a year ago at 14.7p to advance the same project that Newmont have bought into today.

Wouldn't be surprised if they'd shorted the company down to its knees so that they could get in cheap.

Shares in Canada's RNC Minerals (TSX: RNX) were off to the races on Monday after the miner revealed it had unearthed more than 9,000 ounces of high-grade gold from a single blast over the past few days at its Beta Hunt mine, in Western Australia. That's more than 560 pounds (255kg), or $10 million of gold in just four days, if you were to just cash it in today.NOW THIS IS A FIND

Prior to today's transformational news the mc was £2m. We got a guaranteed Phase 1 development agreement with a tier 1 miner worth £9m over 4 years. And yet the share price has put on just £5m. Not only does today's rise fail to reflect the investment being made by Newmont but it assigns absolutely zero value to what the project will be worth after Phase 1 in view of the huge grades discovered to date.
Compared to peers like GGP (I'm in GGP and have no intention of deramping) it looks very undervalued after today's deal.

The market has not yet fully woken up to the significance of today’s news...Newmont has also released a news statement regarding today’s announcement
hxxp://www.wistv.com/story/39058362/newmont-announces-investment-in-orosur-mining

I would not be surprised with a PYC style 30 bagger rise IMO when the market has fully digested today’s news ...all IMO DYOR etc etc

newmont always buy in first then go for a complete takeover in a year or two many multiples of the buy in price...its a no brainer
