A few days ago, wiser counsels than anythiung I have read here today reckoned it was game over for OMI. On that basis, Newmont could possibly have stood back and waited to pick up Anza for next to nothing. However that would have left a risk for them of being gazumped which they were possibly not willing to take.
Clearly, the current cost to them must be worth what they paid and should support the share price at least at a similar level for the time being.
That does not necessarily (or even probably) mean a bonanza for current holders.

Was thinking of throwing two grand at this Friday morning as I was already sitting on a 16k loss at average 56p. My reasoning was that a further two thousand would either be wiped out or multi-bag.Regretfully I didn't do it!

I did say there would be much to discuss come September.

In World news there will no doubt be an event or events,in the coming weeks/months that will truly devastate the mindsets of Millions of people that are oblivious
to "debt does matter"and the War hell bent evil USA part of their Deep state that want to unleash destruction upon mankind to save their evil existence and control.


That may yet include an out of control situation in Syria created by the desperately lying US,UK + French Governments trying to deflect the realities of what will be a slow to then accelerating destruction of our unpayable debt economies.

At some point down the line there will be something that triggers the inevitable
climb to trigger Physical Gold to its climb far beyond $1900 oz.

That will be the time when any Mine than can or could produce Gold or any Gold that
could be mined in the future will attract hordes of investors to Gold anything.

At the moment OMI has both ,albeit I cannot say how Uruguay will be resolved other
than obviously Uruguay will surely want to mine Gold when all the current manipulations via Paper Gold eventually fail.

Care and maintenance and the idea of not wasting precious Gold reserves into a false Market would make ideal sense,but how would that be financed is the question
along with who would own it.

The sweet and sour will be that when Gold starts its climb to beyond $1900,none of us are going to be feeling happy about the events that cause it,albeit having exposure to Gold & Silver will offer some sweet amongst the sour as the World`s reserve currencies complete their death spirals to equivalent 0 in the coming debt
spiral explosions.

With the US mint currently saying they have no more Gold & Silver to produce
certain Coins, or maybe that they dont want to sell them at current prices,along with JP Morgan being long Gold & Silver in the paper Markets may (or not) tell us something ,though of course JP Morgan can never be trusted,along with the Fed and
the ESF with its potential $Trillions of undeclared printed dollars.


These are not exciting times-they are frightening times,as we all have to make
our choices for what is coming.


So far Newmont must at least numbercrunch the "potential"for a size that would
suit them at Anza,and that size target for their consideration is far beyond what most Investors comprehend.

Just maybe !!!the next Brancote or far more.
