26/3/2007 07:26 | Emblaze Ltd 26 March 2007 Emblaze Ltd 26 March 2007 Emblaze Ltd Orca wins significant contract with ON Telecoms to enable innovative IPTV roll out in Greece RA'anana, Israel - 26 March, 2007 - Emblaze Ltd ('Emblaze' or 'the Company') (LSE:BLZ) announces that its Group company, Orca Interactive (LSE: ORCA), a global market leader in developing middleware and applications for IPTV, announces today that ON Telecoms, an alternative telecoms provider, is utilising Orca's RiGHTv middleware in a pioneering Greek IPTV deployment. Powered by Orca's latest version of RiGHTv middleware, the ON Telecoms IPTV service includes live TV (a hybrid of DVB-T and IP channels), on-demand services such as video on demand (VOD) and super fast broadband up to 10 Mbps. The service uses MPEG-4 technology and can provide channels in Standard Definition or High Definition quality. ON Telecoms began offering its Greek IPTV solution just four months after starting the project. This further demonstrates Orca's ability to enable innovative operators to design their own solutions and launch successful IPTV rollouts in a short time to market. Commenting on the announcement, Orca Chief Executive, Haggai Barrel said: 'We are excited to be working with ON Telecoms. They have a deep understanding of the Greek market and have a proven track record in triple play deployments across Europe such as FastWeb in Italy and Hansenet in Germany. Their decision to select Orca as a key partner on this project further underlines the efficiency, suitability and strength of Orca's RiGHTv solution.' Explaining his decision to select Orca's RiGHTv solution, ON Telecoms Chief Executive, Ruggero Gramatica said: 'ON Telecoms identified the potential of Greek market for IPTV, but as an innovative startup we didn't have the luxury of time in getting the deployment up and running. So we selected a first rate team, of which Orca Interactive provides the core middleware management, to get us there quickly as well as meet all of our custom requirements. With this team we were able to offer a complete and reliable triple play package in just four months.' | hotfinance14
15/3/2007 20:57 | In my dreams | par12
15/3/2007 12:09 | PAR12, they need the cash on the balancesheet of ORCA not what they are going to get for it. It will be the same as ADA, just worse because BLZ has the voting mayority | eenmakkie
15/3/2007 12:02 | don't understand why it should have any relevance to the price of Orca | chrisdgb
15/3/2007 11:59 | Par12 just read Blz rns, so this should make it more likely Orca will be sold sooner rather then later and possibly not as much as we expect? | joeblogg1000
15/3/2007 11:26 | Par12, sorry but what does that mean to the share price and the buyers of Orca? | joeblogg1000
15/3/2007 11:22 | WARNING BLZ MAY HAVE TO SELL THIS FOR CASH IN THE BANK VALUE; However thats about 10 Mil MCAP | par12
13/3/2007 10:07 | There waiting for April to pass so they can write of the loss Emblaze will take on Orca afther 2 years of investment. | eenmakkie
12/3/2007 13:05 | that microsoft the so called leader is still having problems so the rest of the market can take advantage, which includes ORCA. Just background reading. | ericthecat
12/3/2007 12:15 | what does that mean? | chrisdgb
08/3/2007 13:51 | very quiet here... | deep powder
05/3/2007 11:28 | IT IS STARTED!!!!!!!! Zone-IP Ltd ("Zone-IP" or the "Company") Directorate change The Company announces that Naamit Salomon has resigned as a director of the Company, with immediate effect, due to conflicts of interest with other directorships that she holds. The Company intends to appoint a new independent non-executive director as soon as practicable. Naamit Salomon has been the vice president, Finance of Formula Systems Ltd. since august 1997. Also serves as a director of Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. There will be some reverse takeover, takeover, or other between Zone-ip and Formula Systems or Magic Software. I think it will go from one of them to Zone-ip because Emblaze and Co. are holders of almost 90% in zone-ip and much less at Formula Systems. But Magic is as well a candidate. Remember the appointment of Eli to its board. And some Non-Executive Directors of Zone-ip are as well in Magic. NEW TRICKS ARE COMING. | eenmakkie
02/3/2007 17:42 | Yes, I do think ORCA will be sold to either Motorola, Commverse or Nortel. The price depends on if its for the company or the technology, if the company then 45p, if the technology then 20p. I think this will happen over the next 2 months, but all IMHO????? | ericthecat
02/3/2007 16:23 | thanks for that eric, all this emblaze stuff aside, how do you expect things to play out. Comverse seem to have lots of cash. Is ORCA technology worth a 'knockout' bid from another player?? Cheers... | deep powder
02/3/2007 16:04 | ORCA are at a show in London starting monday so maybe some news??? | ericthecat
02/3/2007 12:00 | In the Emblaze family everything is posible! The two dates are coming closly together. Orca waithing already a lot of months to announce the 3rd interested party for the takeover. And ADA if all goos well for them on the EGM has money and the legal paper for investing the money. If Orca still waits till April to announce a deal, this looks very suspicious. Don't forget all the water comes from the sea and returns to the sea eventualy. | eenmakkie
01/3/2007 21:55 | WHAT !!! YOU MEAN ADA §§§§ !!!! | par12
01/3/2007 21:17 | The buyer still needs the votes from its shareholders at the EGM in April! | eenmakkie
01/3/2007 18:55 | What happened to the Buyer ?? | par12
26/2/2007 19:54 | The last trading days there is big volume going on at ZIP (big volume for ZIP in contrast to the last 6 months) | eenmakkie
23/2/2007 10:42 | You probably got it there Eric. They will sell the business and keep all the cash in the company and buy Emoze for it. Probably with newly isued shares because they do not want to let go the cash even to Emblaze it self. Emblaze has also a lot of shares standing with investors in the UK. Wy otherwise did Emblaze isued some bonds to get money on the markets if they already knew that Orca will bring in some cash from a total sell? | eenmakkie |
