13/3/2007 13:08 | added a few more, 3.5 it's seen better days! | mikehardman
21/2/2007 16:47 | thnx Richard | mikehardman
21/2/2007 16:20 | MikeHardman - caution. They are going to do a capital restructuring ie a debt for equity swap. We have no idea what current shareholders will get but probably virtually nothing. With debts of £50 million and current market cap only £0.5 million shareholders have no bargaining power unless they can obstruct it in some way. But you never know! | richardbonny
21/2/2007 15:58 | AGM +ve, bid tick up still a deep bottom-catching opp. and when I say deep, I mean deep... :) | mikehardman
31/1/2007 18:23 | ah - we moved the price up :) well nobody said a 'recovery' has to take ages! :) OK, I'll settle down; after all, we want this to do an AUK, as you've said, Nap then it will be much more liquid and with a tighter spread when we gracefully depart | mikehardman
31/1/2007 14:44 | welcome Nap just added @3p myself | mikehardman
31/1/2007 09:51 | Picked up just a few (£1K's worth) as part of a "recoveries" portfolio. | napoleon 14th
30/1/2007 11:38 | added a few ~3p; up a bit more in its upturn; ...rather like AUK used to be even when its turnaround was evident but not widely believed... I hope to be able to sell out of OBS in a similar fashion - when spread, liquidity, perception, and share price have all improved - give it a year; a bit more volume building now (all things relative!) | mikehardman
29/1/2007 14:33 | further buying today (following from Friday, when bid ticked up); last man on 3p now; its restructuring is largely complete, with 14dec06 finals already showing much improved cash flow, etc. (though note they were for 18 months not 12) | mikehardman
18/11/2006 09:28 | If it ten bags from here I might be able to buy a beer from my holding. | mr gary curtis
17/11/2006 17:53 | This is second day someone buying big. Much bigger than 50,000 showing as buys. | stromboli
17/11/2006 16:13 | +33% today :) and up through the 3p level | mikehardman
17/11/2006 09:34 | richard - appreciate that comment - thnx | mikehardman
16/11/2006 20:20 | Mike Hardman - yes if they can slowly repay their debts it might come good over perhaps a ten year time frame. Interesting thing is their turnover is not bad, around £40 million per annum. They are able to service the interest on their debt but not to actually make a profit due to write off of goodwill every year. Some bright spark might be able to sort them out with some financial re-engineering - however, needless to say they don't have any bright sparks. Yes there is 100 bagger potential if someone could only get a grip. In our dreams! What on earth happened today? Somebody actually buy some shares? Why I wonder? | richardbonny
16/11/2006 18:23 | answer: hopefully before Xmas/New year (and these finals will be for an 18 month period, following the change of year-end previously notified) | mikehardman
16/11/2006 15:48 | long a few, 2.5 breaking semilog falling resistance 100-bagger potential (well that's one way of looking at it!) recent interims then AGM OK as regards starting to turn the business around finals (not sure when, but prob. no long), if goodish, could be enough to promote a re-rating spread 2/2.5, just to warn, but not surprise! update: blimey - that moved it pronto! - 2nd % gainer now don't know where TDW placed my trade, ain't showing on ADVFN; possibly others to print later and/or elsewhere, I guess I've emailed the company secretary to see if I can get a clue when the finals might be published (apart from 'soon') | mikehardman
30/8/2006 13:17 | This shower are working for their bankers only...it will take them forever to clear the debts....they might as well go into admin and start again!!! | jotoha1
15/8/2006 10:38 | Market capitalisation of Orbis = £300,000. Annual fees payable to Mr Warriner (who is not even a Board member) for providing polite advice = 121,000 euros (0.6p/share). Well I suppose they can keep him on for a couple of years before they go bust! I think shareholders would have preferred a payment to themselves of 0.6p/share instead however. | atomic dog
26/4/2006 20:49 | Have tried several times to sell a few shares online but can't. This is like a dead albatross floating on the sea until the carcass rots away. Will eventually get something back by setting my loss against CGT - if I could only sell it. | richardbonny
05/4/2006 15:35 | Women and children first. Is this going down Knowing? | buzzardweb
