07/12/2004 22:51 | same here. Thanks for the answer Dobermann, been in the share for 2 years, I can't see it doing much short term and a can't believe it's still under 'favourite ideas' why? I'll keep holding to the bitter end | grasscutter1
07/12/2004 14:55 | I am surprised TWP have any subscribers! What do you pay your money for? From my own experiences :- Updates are very few and far between on tipped stocks - you can't be sure of updates even after results or an important RNS. Even when you chase TWP you can't be sure of getting an update One new tip every couple of months A market report is issued occasionally but it's as and when they feel like it and is totally irrelevent to stocks they have tipped Problems logging into the website Am I right in saying TWP were taken over and it is then that they went downhill? I hold OBS ........... but I no longer subscribe to TWP | cheddars
07/12/2004 14:33 | grasscutter1 , Yes it is still one of their favourites ? No updates on their website either ! I have E-mailed them twice to chase them up , the first time I got an acknowledgement saying they would update soon ; When I re-sent it I did not get an answer . I will send it again and see what happens ? I must say I am a bit suprised the share price has dropped so far on low volume . The results could have been better , but they were not in the disaster category (like the share price has been) . The FD left , which is never normally a good sign but we have had the final results since then and nothing untoward has come out of the woodwork ? So often an FD leaves and everything and more is blamed on them , as a means of getting it out of the way . | dobermann
06/12/2004 20:52 | Dobermann, is Orbis still under "favourite ideas" on twp. Any updates? | grasscutter1
03/12/2004 09:26 | A cursory glance at the figures isn't very encouraging atall.... glad I didn't get into this one.... appears further significant deterioration in business.... Very worrying indeed.... | slapdash
02/12/2004 11:06 | Results today ! Anybody with a grasp for accounts want to try and work it all out and give their view ? Gravy | day_dreamer
19/11/2004 07:41 | Strange that you don't even see Orbis vans on the road any more. Used to see them quite often about 3-6 months ago. Wonder why - could it be the same reason that the share price is falling? Maybe they have expired! | pylon
11/11/2004 21:00 | Is Orbis about to Implode???? That is what the share price chart suggests... declining market in the UK.... Complex and possibly accident prone European expansion.... Large debt burden with little interest cover... a management team that is probably demoralised frmo the backwards progression of the last few years... I think its around 4 CEOs in four years or something.. As Warren Buffett once said a company with debt is like a man driving with one hand.. it only takes one pothole to be be driven off coruse and to crash at he side of the road.... And Orbis has debt up to its eyeballs... I read in the IC that if the company is taken over equity holders get only 10% of the business.... so the implied market cap under this scenario is £7m..... Hmm.... not sure I want a piece of this... Slapper | slapdash
03/11/2004 16:35 | That was responsible lad , well done. | blackbear
03/11/2004 15:24 | Sold the rest of mine today out @4.6p. Lost about £65 all in all, but it really was a good thing since I used all the money to go into CLS this morning. Later made a huge profit on CLS. | responsible lad
03/11/2004 15:10 | 670k trade a 4.1p just flashed up at munyam but it's not from today, did that show yesterday on here ? Probably the reason why the price never went higher than 5.5p offer ! Gravy | day_dreamer

02/11/2004 14:54 | Responsible Lad - 1 Nov'04 - 13:26 - 95 of 122 A buy of over 30K again @5.5p. Orbis is as safe as houses. You will not find such great odds with such high returns back at a casino. SAFE AS HOUSES.....DO YOU REMEMBER THE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS STEPHEN? CLUE..... THIS HOUSE ISNT MADE OUT OF BRICKS !! | pictureframe

Responsible Lad - 2 Nov'04 - 14:42 - 122 of 122 Well my stragegy is to buy on fear and sell on greed. I sold out at 5p today, but I still hold £850 which I am keeping hold off. I may sell them down to £500 worth because Orbis may go bust and I can not really afford to loose £800 at the moment. Kind Regards Stephen LOL! Rgds dell | dell314
