I cant find this thread when using mobile app on iphone -- I have stopped using my personal laptop.

I am more active in the equity options market -- I guess getting a bit over-confident having managed to get most of the trends right since 2012. Shame I didn't hang onto the shares I have bought in the big sell-off in 2009.

I tend to have preset profit targets - normally 25-50% profit is my exit for short term trades. Most of the time you can get back in at lower price.

Yes, any strategy with two three or four legs are commission/spread heavy.
I am a one leg man, sell puts naked, cash covered or calls stock covered.
On something like the QQQ synthetic used in place of stock.

Yes, very good back up and live customer chat if required, I do not subscribe to the commission paid to introduce new customers just to make that very clear, my offer is based around the person who helped me move to IB did it out of goodwill.

I have Hoadley , but IB has all the built in( free) Option analysis you will ever need.

Chester but travel to Dorset and Windsor to visit my brother , not far from you.
Think we could set the IB up via a few Skype sessions each week.
I can run you past some set up/functions then you trial them in your own time.

IB Data feed is free, 15 mins delayed ( you can go real time but payment required.

With IB do you have to pay for data feeds or platform software?

I use a spreadsheet for Delta calculations. The so called TOS platform used by Karen looks very good but its only available through TD Waterhouse in the states. UK branch didnt even know what I was talking about:)

Considering we once lead the world trading options the few UK brokers Ive had dealing with seem backward in platform technology unless your a super rich local :)
