I must say, as a devout vegetarian I would have been rather upset to discover Soylent Greens origins but it was an ingenious way of recycling though huh Bayetya? ; )Sienna

F3,

Quite right! Meaningless rubbish!

Hmmm...but then, the chart did get me out of OPTI just before I went away for the summer. I have only recently started to accumulate again as 'sentiment' seems to have changed - chart-wise. The differential is around 10.00p, some might not think it worth the effort, but it saved me fretting on me hols.

I sold PANR too, based on the chart, around the same time. That saved me from the recent calamitous fall. Not going back there in a hurry. Rubbish chart.

I'm recently back in AMER, again, based on the chart. That's done quite well and the recent retracement was forecast.

I could go on...I'm such a bore.

Hopefully this will have a positive effect (however small) on our GoFigure range...

"Following a total recall of its food bars, Soylent has slammed the brakes on its flagship powder product too"

I must admit I wasn't previously aware of a company using the name Soylent - it wasn't exactly the world's most ethical company in the movie Soylent Green.

Ferd,
Of course it's meaningless
Always will be with news driven tiddler aim stocks
Never seen a chartist yet say it will go down or it will go up
Always "might" "perhaps" "if" "maybe" "possibly"
Very vague assessments are the norm, with no clear prediction

All this talk of charts is meaningless imo. The reason we dropped so lowly was solely down to an institution dumping masses of shares. IF they have stopped I find it highly unlikely we'll drop so low again..unless bad news were to come of course!

There's an odd one dogwalker; you obviously read my post relating to Pfizer and cholesterol drug; my post doesn't appear on the bb coming my way! Go figure?

'Bococizumab' .Odd name for a drug. Sounds more like one of our bacterial concoctions. Anyway, great news, owenmo.

As I said yesterday, absolutely no conviction in the move. Sellers still hugely in control. Need to see today's closing candle however it does look like another rinse and repeat and a continuation of the downtrend. Peeps suckered in on yesterday's spike @ 73p. I'm hoping for news to coincide with the summit. However not holding my breath.

Dogwalker you can even listen into the audio. Shows more bad press for sugar in soft drinks and the expected benefits to Mexico following their tax.

I haven't seen any programmes about the microbiome (mentioning SOH and OPTI) on TV yet! I thought a few were scheduled for this year?

What is there to say about Skinbiotix at this stage. We are waiting for prospectus, date, price, etc. This will be in the hands of Finncap.

The Dispatches programme yesterday about child obesity is also great news for Opti. I believe people are getting the message that the damage sugars cause and will embrace alternatives which don't carry the same risks. All very encouraging.

Paleje - I honestly don't think IC have a real grasp of OPTI, its business model and its scientic breakthrough, as highlighed in today's interview. OPTI are years ahead of any listed company in its biome fields.

Sugar Is the New Tobacco, so Let’s Treat It That Way

Articles like this are very helpful for Opti - Published in medscape yesterday (website for health professionals).

Risky - GiFigure numbers are for c4 month and the first 4 weeks were soft launch. Slimfast as I understand it are undergoing a rebranding. Is this to coincide with a new OPTI IP launch?

The average spend is c£33 per order. I would wager these are by the most part test purchases. I would expect a dramatic pickup on the "800 online customers" as word of mouth spreads. Now with Iclanidic export - interesting times. IMHO this is quite significant, because of its location. I'd be interested to learn how this came about.

I'd like a geographical breakdown for the online customer bases. For example, Amazon, GoFigures own site and independents.

I know Amazon have the GoFigure listed on UK and German domains. I haven't checked other domains.

Hi Mike, sorry, when I said it would be good to hear about Slimfast I meant an update on the deal we have with them as opposed to their diet products. I realise though that in all likelihood we are under an NDA.. I think we are focused on the shakes and bars because we have some early numbers, I don't think that Opti are just focused on it for one second..

Just goes to show this company is shaped to bring in revenues through so many opportunities. With early examples showing the strategy. Go figure has done brilliantly - on for 250k a year already and looks as though it's growing fast....goes to show that if a product works well it markets itself in the weightloss market. It's all good spending millions on advertising but if it doesn't work it won't sell as there are just too many fad products in this space. As for slimfast I also wonder what's happened with that. I originally saw the slimfast deal as them needing us a lot more than we need them so I'm not too fussed. Mainly because slimfast is full of sugar and the brand has been dying a slow death for a while now.Cholesterol product seems to have gained genuine momentum now with an actual rough time set by the company. Some still going on about p&g but that came from tom winnifreth so take that with s pinch of salt. From listening to soh recently I think it will be unlikely too. This far from bothers me however. I mentioned before about ab life with DuPonts exclusive deal. Ab biotics share price peaked at that time and has pretty much halved since due to woeful sales and productivity mainly down to duponts lack of interest. You can bet your bottom dollar soh won't give up exclusivity to see similar happen. The intel inside expression recently highlights this. Why have it in a select number of products when you can get it in so much more. The whole idea of licensing is to get a small percent of massive sales...if your exclusive partner doesn't sell like your absolutely screwed. If intel had given exclusivity of their microprocessors to just Dell or ibm do you think they would still be as big today? The whole strategy is for long term as management records show they build value and exit after there is nothing left to extract. The splitting up of divisions makes this process far simpler for them to do as the portfolio of validated science and potential product list continues to expand.
