22/10/2016 09:48 | mouse20 - "So why would it be recognised as cash Burn?" A fair point. Cash burn is technically incorrect, but OptiBiotix is the majority shareholder and has used £400,000 of its cash reserves for further development work in SkinBiotix. It's £400,000 of cash that they no longer have. OptiBiotix are the largest shareholder and (imo) issuing a convertible loan amounts to lending money to yourself. Listen, please yourselves, but when a company issues debt (in whatever form) to a company it majority owns then I run for the door!! | ![]() michaelmouse
22/10/2016 09:14 | All the clown had to do was google Skinbiotix/ companies house to see the details/shareholders | ![]() lukead
22/10/2016 08:57 | michaelmouse so desperate to appear knowledgeable but failing miserably. From what I have read you have made a lot of very poor investment decisions, not a problem, most of us have made a few, but your criticism of opti is falling on deaf ears. Posters here have made their investment decision and will hardly be swayed by your rather childlike and sometimes quite nasty posts. Take some time out, perhaps find another hobby. Good luck to all investors in opti. | greenas1953
22/10/2016 08:37 | Skinbiotix Ltd does exist as a separate legal entity of which Optibiotix own 51% of the shares, with the rest of the shares being owned by the University of Manchester and two of their academics. As Optibiotix own more than 50% of Skinbiotix then the year end accounts will be consolidated. So why would it be recognised as cash Burn? | ![]() mouse20
21/10/2016 23:38 | Michael mouse, when you are on your death bed with 24 hours left, please do remember how much time you spent on Opti based on vengeance. Well they do say time is more precious than gold. I know this will fall on 'death' ears but hey ho, some never learn. | ![]() uzbek1
21/10/2016 22:08 | Not sure why a convertible loan note would raise eyebrows. It is simply working capital provided to a subsidiary. If the debt troubles either the cash flow or the balance sheet then it can be converted to equity. The belief is there that the subsidiary can repay and therefore the parent company has not made a grab for equity. The obvious reason being the already declared future hive off/flotation. Happens regularly as a supervening event when the future is mapped out but not yet happened. Don't misread the signs. The pieces are assembled. | ![]() parsnip1
21/10/2016 21:30 | Pedantic, Obsessive and clearly suffering from delusions of grandeur! You're an anonymous nobody, get over it and get on with your life - Like others I call in here for a laugh because you're sooooo easy to wind up. I assure you my visits here have absolutely nothing to do with investment, trading or interest in what you actually post. | ![]() gbh2
21/10/2016 19:43 | I asked gbh2 a question yesterday about Opti's latest RNS. He declined to answer stating he had no interest in the company. Apparently he just turns up out of the blue on random bulletin boards? Any shareholders care to comment on this question. Here it is again:- "The company appears to have effectively lent money to itself through a convertible loan note. It sounds like a bit of financial jiggery-pokery to me. What do you think?" | ![]() michaelmouse
21/10/2016 17:29 | TW said spin-off and big commercial order would be confirmed by the end of Summer. Now he is saying by the end of Christmas. I wish he would keep quiet or at least realise his blathering updates do more harm than good. What if - and it is a very likely if - there is no deal or demerger by the end of this year? The share price will suffer as impatient investors feel once again duped by TW's hype. In my opinion, it will take longer than 2 months to see true value here, more like 5 years. | mazzstar
21/10/2016 16:51 | Elrico, I had initially mistaken Michaelmouse as an investor who had misinterpreted an RNS, I hadn't understood instead he is actually just a psychotic fool who writes slanderous, naive and inaccurate statements about companies he doesn't have any investment in. My investment in OptiBiotix was based on significant levels of research and I couldn't be more pleased to hold shares in this company, and whilst this is a higher risk stock, this in my opinion is a future diamond with significant opportunities based on a diverse portfolio of patents and product / partner opportunities. I look forward to seeing these opportunities delivered over the next few years. I won't be wasting any more of my time on this thread with this idiot, but I may well join you and the other actual investors on the proper thread. | griffin81
21/10/2016 16:46 | Agreed Luke, I can never understand the mentality of advertising a price that seems aimed to put buyers off when you are prepared to sell at a much lower price. Hey ho, maybe that's why they are mighty market makers and I am a mere mortal | ![]() fozdad
21/10/2016 16:29 | So annoying seeing all the trades showing up as sells, a sea of red, on the trade section, when most are actually buys, a more accurate real price showing 67/68.5 would avoid this confusing state of affairs. | ![]() lukead
21/10/2016 16:25 | I think the summit might be a few years away when the whole world are using OPTI's products to reduce cholesterol, manage weight and make themselves look younger! Could be due a big incline soon though! ;) | ![]() f3rdinand

21/10/2016 15:56 | Oops...did the guru make another mistake. Oh, as griffin eluded. michaelmouse yet again seems unable to read, digest and understand and RNs. It explains why he ploughed his money into bombed out frauds like AVN and Trakm8, apparently a growth company that has to buy other companies revenues. Remind me, who else did this smoke and mirrors trick? OH yeah, QPP and INTQ the latter another fraud bailed out by a fund manager more foolish than, wait for it.....michaelmouse. Make hay fella. Your blathering days are numbered. But then you don't seem to mind looking foolish. You will probably continue telling us OPTI and Skin are shorting fodder at 800p. Have to took profit on TRAKM8 yet? Sorry, you're long! Are you still holding AVN or have you finally been stopped out. No, surely you didn't averaged an average, average....wow! No wonder you're keeping your head down over there after your advisory contribution "the brave should consider averaging down at 45p." I can only assume you followed your own advice and averaged down YET AGAIN all the way from 190p and 120p. It's a pity we are not on Skpe....I'd be tipping my hat to you. I'll you leave you to it. Ta ta. | elrico
