01/3/2019 14:53 | Yes, as I said. Scientifically way ahead. | ![]() imnotlong
01/3/2019 14:52 | I am sure Sweetbiotix will be commercialised in due course. Failure to do so would be a very large red flag; however, I expect it will and hopefully we will hear something fairly soon. | ![]() rafboy
01/3/2019 14:50 | I remember this line from the Probiota poster:Whilst our previous studies have demonstrated that these fibres have high sweetness and no aftertaste, this is the FIRST STUDY TO OUR KNOWLEDGE of a high intensity sweetener demonstrating a POSITIVE EFFECT on the microbiome. | ![]() parob
01/3/2019 14:48 | Yes Parob, it is. I just hope Opti are not left commercially behind, even with the appointment of Fred. They are clearly ahead scientifically. I rembember this line on Sweetbiotix way back from the November 2016 financial report, page 6 (published in 2017). “In anticipation of growing industry interest, we have accelerated our development plans and hope to launch our first generation sugar product later this year, or at the start of 2018”. | ![]() imnotlong
01/3/2019 14:46 | When you look at what these corporates are doing in this area & then at sweetbiotix the novelty is in a completely different league. No wonder SOH said Sweetbiotix is well ahead of the curve after speaking with the majors in this space. Sugars will be the golden egg. | ![]() riskybusiness1
01/3/2019 14:43 | Just goes to show what Opti are up against?! | ![]() rayrac
01/3/2019 14:29 | Yes that's been in the offing since late last year imnotlong. Goes to show which way the industry is heading. | ![]() parob
01/3/2019 14:23 | DSM have just announced the start of Avansya, their sugar replacement JV with Cargill. | ![]() imnotlong
01/3/2019 14:09 | Let’s hope a decent RNS arrives next week. It needs something to change this annoying and repetitive trading range. | ![]() imnotlong
01/3/2019 14:00 | Rath definitely no ingredients supplier, that's a huge misunderstanding. Sacco are an ingredient supplier. That's the top of the revenue chain for Opti.Do not forget the milestones the US will pay before launch over 7 figures & another 7 figures if they want global exclusivity before launch. Phase 1 & 2 data already collected. FDA GRAS will speed up the biopharma development. SOH said the US pharma had ambition to launch within 3 years. By that time the current distribution deals that are definitely not 'MOU' will have established recurring & growing revenues streams across the divisions.Once LPLDL goes in to dairy & a few multi million £ deals come from India along with TATA big rerate to come if all plays out like it looks like it will. | ![]() riskybusiness1
01/3/2019 13:50 | Another tick down by the looks of things as sell coming in below bid, didn't think we'd get down here again. | ![]() scotty1
01/3/2019 13:49 | What is it with the selling today! Despite what Raythean has written, I believe we are far closer to a decent rerate. Quite possible over the next few months. | ![]() rafboy
01/3/2019 13:45 | LP-LDL being recognised by another industry expert in this article. The word is definitely getting out there: hTTps://www.deliciou | ![]() parob
01/3/2019 13:38 | I think OPTI is a good few years from that. Stick these in an ISA and come back in 3 years, the business might have caught up with its current valuation. The pharma discussion is for a long way into the future, otherwise it's an ingredients supplier with lots of as yet revenue less MoUs that may or may not amount to something... all imo dyor ofc. | ![]() rathean
01/3/2019 09:53 | Like most new technologies (ref ARM) takes years, building the IP,trust, agreeing distribution, licenses etc. Then all of a sudden the tech was/is in everything. Feels familiar to me. Our problem is that we are close to Opti, follow its every move. Switch off and drop back in 1 yrs time and you may well see the transformational change in proliferation/custom We really are getting close now, mark my words | ![]() pol123
01/3/2019 08:50 | Ramp ramp ramping along see how the lies do fly. All the way from India! | ![]() rayrac
01/3/2019 08:42 | Lol Guys there’s links all over the place now showing big corporates followignornliking news from Opti. Arla, nestle, we are due news according to soh from big US corporates that were waiting for gras sign off. | ![]() shrewdmole
01/3/2019 08:32 | Do you mean they are in a tuk tuk tailing them around India? | ![]() imnotlong
01/3/2019 08:18 | Nestle India following Opti..... | ![]() shrewdmole
01/3/2019 07:47 | Completely agree Parob, once the term Microbiome and its modulation to create health benefits are as widely recognised by the general public as, say, probiotics, then OPTI will really come into its own | ![]() trotterstrading
01/3/2019 07:37 | So 62 orders in 7 days, which is a big increase from the average of 4 a day during early Feb. It seems the adverts are working... | ![]() nobbygnome
