08/9/2017 16:10 | None of their games will matter going forward. I suspect we are in for a decent run up to year end. | rafboy
08/9/2017 16:05 | Mms are up to something. Two days on the trot that they have ignored bouts of buying... I bet they are not even embarrassed ...lol | bobdown2
08/9/2017 16:04 | I wonder if Mr Evans is turning over his 250k for a quick (massive) profit? Seems that way!! On the plus side I've managed to pick up another 11,000 ish on the drop! :) | f3rdinand
08/9/2017 16:04 | Some very bizarre price action these past couple of days. Another 50K buy and it doesn't budge the offer. And you can sell 20K above mid price. | parob
08/9/2017 16:02 | Not so sure bob as there was a 50k seller earlier. | elrico
08/9/2017 16:01 | Fun and games going on here. bid offer .50p has it ever been so narrow? | elrico
08/9/2017 15:59 | Looks like they have dropped the price to fill a 50k buyer... | bobdown2

08/9/2017 13:17 | Interims from Optibiotix (AIM: OPTI) mark the start of its transition from R&D house into a commercial business. The company is developing supplements and ingredients which have a desirable physical effect by modifying the human microbiome – the collection of microbes in the body. Potential markets are massive, with products focused on managing cholesterol, obesity and diabetes. Optibiotix aims to generate royalty and license income from partners, who will use its active ingredients in products that they will manufacture and market.PartnershipsM | elrico
08/9/2017 07:16 | Is Optibiotix Health Plc (OPTI.L)’s Triple EMA Building Momentum? Optibiotix Health Plc (OPTI.L) has watched the Triple Exponential Moving Average (TEMA) of it’s share price trend higher over the past 5 session. This is a potential signal that strength is building for the upward trend. TEMA is a unique combination of a single exponential moving average, a double exponential moving average, and a triple exponential moving average that provides less lag than any of those three individually. It can be used instead of traditional moving averages for smoothing price data or other indicators. TEMA can also be used as a momentum indicator. Consistent negative value suggests momentum is decreasing while a positive trend suggests increasing momentum. | parob
07/9/2017 23:23 | Judi Don't be so sensitive. It was old fashioned humour. As for the Opti and Sbtx debate. There was a post earlier about going from a low base. I genuinely think opti-mism is right here for us now but Sbtx could announce a deal tomorrow with an Mn and it would double in minutes. So it's all guesswork. What I do see is slim biome is in a very very competitive and scrupulous market but that was the door opener. The other strains are immense. Whereas skin has imho less competition. The market is totally stale so a new product that has proven science will grow faster market share. All the big companies are looking for food stuffs and supplements but they've ran out of ideas with skincare. Who knows but glad I'm in both. S | shrewdmole
07/9/2017 22:30 | ?? This bb I thought was about Opti Shall we set another up about war heroes? Leave it with you Mr Big Holder | judijudi
07/9/2017 20:13 | Insulin converts sugar & carbs into glucose for energy. Too much sugar can act as a painkiller numbing nerves as well as being addictive. It is poison in my mind.I'm t2 diabetic & a safe sugar substitute with no carbs = priceless. There are other natural sweetners but they can have a laxative effect. | smarner
07/9/2017 20:13 | We have to remember that the most recent deal with TATA wasn't for LP-LDL but for LPGOS (a microbiome modulator which also reduces cholesterol) so we COULD sign a separate LP-LDL supply/distribution agreement with TATA too. We would then have agreements in:- slimbiome- LPGOS- LP-LDLAs risky mentioned in post 26738:"There's a pretty significant possibility Opti are working over a distribution deal for LPLDL with TATA too. LPGOS as well as a cholesterol reducing ingredient in its own right enhances the efficacy of LPLDL when combined."As I mentioned last night, I wouldn't be surprised to find out TATA are interested in SweetBiotix too.Just re-reading the latest TATA RNS:LPGOS is the FIRST OF A RANGE of ingredients being developed by OptiBiotix which can modify an individual's current microbiome to improve health. From the results:-- Microbiome modulators where OptiBiotix(R) has demonstrated its ability to manipulate both the microbiome's composition and its function. These ingredients are heat resistant and stable during processing, which creates the opportunity to incorporate low cost, safe ingredients which modulate specific elements of the microbiome in a wide range of food products. This creates the potential for designer ingredients, supplements and food products which can modify an individual's current microbiome to improve health. In the last six months, we have EXTENDED our work into OTHER MICROBIAL general associated with health benefits directly, or through the production of bioactives, like short chain fatty acids (SCFA's)I wonder what else is in the offing? | parob
07/9/2017 19:52 | sugar dosnt give you energy imo it gives you a blood sugar spike which requires a pile of insulin to get it back to safe levels. but theres a pile of money in it. | drago
07/9/2017 19:45 | The logic and rationale about OPTI doubling before SBTX from here is unquestionable. The trouble is that the markets are completely irrational and illogical, which is why I have gone for SBTX to double first. The majority of PIs just love getting in to low market cap, low share price shares. Totally illogical but its how they behave. It will be interesting to see how it pans out. I'm happy in both, meanwhile. | luminoso
07/9/2017 19:30 | Another 25k for me today. | vanduke
07/9/2017 19:10 | Mate runners and sports people aren't about sugar from drinks now. It's all the minerals etc for the electrolytes they tend to have gels and sweets for the energy. Hark at the fat lad preaching about sports nutrition. Let's face it sweetbiotix could go in everything? S | shrewdmole
07/9/2017 18:50 | I assume that the energy is the calories so has to be absorbed. Better to have OPTI in Tango etc which is just fizzy orange. Lucozade is supposed to give energy. | deeppockets
07/9/2017 18:36 | I guess they could add a sweetener that has energy but isn't absorbed by the body? Actually does the sweetbiotix give the benefits of sugar in terms of energy as well as the sweet taste? S | shrewdmole
07/9/2017 18:29 | I see Lucozade have just launched a Zero product! Surely you buy Lucozade for the sugar!? | deeppockets
07/9/2017 18:15 | 07/09 The Swiss Confederation and food industry representatives have welcomed Danone and Kellogg’s signatures to a declaration that commits firms to cutting sugar content in its yoghurt and cereal products. | parob
07/9/2017 17:34 | Parsnip obviously fixated with the digit 1..... why don't you go binary and add a few zeros next time !! cheers Nick | nicktopten
