Talking trade, I wouldn't say Opti are going it alone since there are distribution partners in place. As for p&g, I read it was just a rumour anyway. Best to look forward now and hope this more risky route to market will be fruitful.

I agree wholeheartedly.
SOH is the first ever company guy in my long investment history ( over 25 years ) that actually considers the shareholders and tries to maximise their investment.
Plus, he also has family members invested here...so he's certainly motivated to do his very best.

I was going to say Good Luck but I don't think we need that anymore as were in, and we just have to sit back now...just my thoughts.

Suzy, the sales are not material at this stage, they clearly say 'modest' the point is it's PROOF of commerciality with leaders in the field. This is just the start.. the market for Cholesterol lowering and high blood pressure products is worth billions. Not only that LDL is clinically proven with a UNIQUE duel action, which is a differentiator in a crowded market place. Folks not 'getting it' I feel. LDL is going to be HUGE!

spike, that's tough, but happens and you made a quick decision to get that back.

I never got an Anna Dunfy notification on that 2nd RNS, i did on the annual accounts rns, as usual. It was odd and certainly if that 2nd RNS had been incorporated in the first one, then the share price would have gone higher and some would not have sold.

suzy, how can they possibly have any real idea of revenues at this point. And I think I'm right in saying AIM companies are not allowed to make forward looking statements of that nature.

Oh dear! Very cynical attempt to manipulate the share price back up imo. Why wasn't that RNS released at 7am with the results. Very poor indeed. Aimho of course.

A cynic might say that they knew results wouldn't be well received and held another news item back to counteract a falling share price. I couldn't possibly comment of course.

As usual, no details have been given about revenues, although I'd guess they are minimal:-

"This pre-launch sale provides moderate levels of early income"

Personally, I don't think it was a gaff regarding the timing of these two RNS.

Those who are in it for a quick SHORT TERM turnaround and think it's all jam tomorrow would have sold out, thus leaving those confident in the LONG TERM progress still on board as their holding or, even better, still accumulating on the dips.

Just my thoughts on the matter but so glad I'm an OPTI Holder.

Plenty of good positive news ... but never any figures or even indications of potential revenues. Its so frustrating .... Does the person responsible for RNS not realise the negative impact created for the share price? Who has SOHs ear ... can you put in a word ... please

The fact opti has any revenues at this stage exemplifies the business plan of sharing development cost and gaining revenues through getting slimbiome to market much sooner than anticipated.

Loaded up on that announcement. Very significant news. share price would have been 15-20% up on that news had the RNS been 7am. Will still finish up 10% or more IMHO great days for OPTI holders

branboyd: re no mention of numbers. You expect OPTI to announce their profit margin or sale price? Why would they do that when they are continuing to negotiate further sales. And they cannot announce the product's retail price because it's not their product.
