20/4/2017 16:18 | Elrico how's your SBTX holding? Best you take my advice next time and buy low. | branboyd1
20/4/2017 16:16 | someones gone all quiet. lol | incanus
20/4/2017 16:00 | Bob - Indeed, another example of flawed research and logic. I suspect they go hand in glove in his world made up of hindsight. | elrico
20/4/2017 15:48 | Doh i think you'll find MM was speaking metaphorically regarding "winter is coming" ie OPTI is going down etc etc,by the way MM you are totally wrong of course OPTI will only see summers very soon. | scotty1
20/4/2017 15:33 | Elrico...the guy thinks opti is a biotech company. Just about to use the filter button. I hope he knows how that works. | bobdown2
20/4/2017 15:20 | Bran - every bulls strategy is to buy low, some will adopt TA in the hope it assists, sometimes it may work, other times it won't. The point I am making - you seem to talk with the benefit of hindsight. And your tone is always leaning to the negative, which is fine, but for the fact you add nothing to support it, other than hindsight. It is clear you just want to rub people up the wrong way. Why would I feel threatened by you? 70% of my holding was acquired at 15p. Check the numbers Bran, more people agree with me, for what it's worth...that said, I wasn't aware we were on a catwalk. In any event, your argument about topping up is flawed and you don't see it. "Topping up" is usually a good strategy if one is a long term investor, acquiring more stock usually helps over time, it's what the fund managers do, it's what pensions funds do, they don't tend to concern themselves with trying to find the bottom. I think you are confusing investing with trading. Tell you what...let's play a little game. You tell us poor souls when to buy and when to sell. So, at what price would you be a buyer of OPTI? and what would be your exit price. Let us see how smart your strategy is now. | elrico
20/4/2017 15:19 | Don't forget Traders and sellers wont be in for any future freebies The wise will be buying and holding for the long term | judijudi
20/4/2017 15:19 | I think selling is general market as most of my shares down over last few days due I have been told to the pound rising in anticipation of brexit certainty | suzypink
20/4/2017 15:18 | If that has been your strategy and you have executed it well... surely your chuffed to bits with optis share price action this past year? Has bounced around creating many opportunities for people with such strategy has it not?. The real money will be made over the years here. | riskybusiness1
20/4/2017 14:55 | Results next Tuesday. If they achieved an operating profit of around £2.24m then the shares would be on a p/e ratio of 25. Probably about right for a fast growing company. Sadly, I expect that they'll be hard pressed to record "revenues" any where near that figure never mind operating profits. Several years away yet. I see sbtx shares are heading back down to 9p, and probably below. Any CEO worth his salt should never talk about a "spin-off" as an appreciating asset (or for that matter ever talk about a company's share price). At the moment sbtx is becoming a rapidly depreciating asset. Neither sbtx or opti are worth holding if the current nervousness turns into a full blown bear market. Both hugely overpriced and needless to say don't pay dividends. Both could well drop well below their IPO prices. Worth revisiting my post 1150 again. Bang on with ZOO. Day traders took it to nearly 20p in a few days, and then we get a placing at 9p. The first few snow flurries have arrived......... Winter is coming.............. (unless you're on the main thread of course then you'd no doubt say plenty of "top-up" opportunities) | michaelmouse
20/4/2017 14:51 | Elrico my strategy is to buy low and sell high and it works. You should try it sometime. I don't always find the bottom, in fact I probably never do, but in the past I would chase up a share price on AIM and always get burned. You seem to be threatened by the fact other people agree with me, ego hurt much? No offense mate but you come off as childish and insecure. And as for hindsight, I mentioned topping up was not a good idea when the share price was much higher than it is today. You should know that since you went through my post history. | branboyd1
20/4/2017 14:49 | Not very nice JJ LOL | westmoreland lad
20/4/2017 14:25 | To true Mate :) | judijudi
20/4/2017 14:25 | JJ - You're already overweight, you fat sod :) | elrico
20/4/2017 14:24 | How can the benefit of hindsight make sense? Since Bran arrived he has only ever comment on "past events" apart from a couple of TW digs of course. Unfortunately, unless I have missed something, timing your entry or accumulation is not yet possible with the benefit of hindsight. The guy has been here a month and already telling us we are fools and offers nothing to support his view, other than, oh look, the price has drifted.....if only. Yeah right! What's the betting he always buys low and sells high. | elrico
20/4/2017 13:52 | Wish I had some spare loot :( | judijudi
20/4/2017 13:01 | I would agree with the above if I was trading but I am far more interested in the price 3-5 years from nowGood luckAdnan | adnanwolf
20/4/2017 12:56 | regrettably, the above poster makes sense, time and again we have seen this, up to 85 and down again, whether you admit to it or not, it is frustrating, those of you at 8p , it matters not so much, although even you lot must have been topping up expecting something more in terms share price action, we know about TATA and go figure and all that, but has had no impact, excepting maybe keep the share price in the current range. EDIT, well looking at the graph, it has not made it to 85 too many times, but that is why the most recent time when it did, with 'exciting' things to take place, it is very disappointing. | lukead
20/4/2017 12:35 | Hopefully this is a lesson to investors here not to keep chasing up a share price because you will lose money! I remember a few weeks ago when the share price was 86p and every other comment was about topping up. This is a terrible investing strategy for AIM shares, just wait a bit and you can time it to your advantage. The poster Wolfstreet on the other board is basically doing the opposite of what you guys do and he's making money. And no I'm not him before anyone accuses me! | branboyd1
20/4/2017 12:35 | Lpldl is only one single strain and uses 0.1g of ingredient but has similar efficiency to 3g of plant stanols. It can be mass produced and made at very very low prices. The main thing opti needs to do is get lpldl out in to the market so that it's becomes recognised. The revenues as a result will build and significantly increase. This is when the P&Gs get involved. People would rather pay money for a natural supplement that first indications suggest similar efficacy to statins. Why would people continue to take a drug that has now been proven without doubt to have serious consequential side effects. They will be looking for an alternative. Que lpldl - soh says he has 30+ companies talking to opti, I am not surprised. Imagine the demand when it's actually available. The science backed with the unrivalled cheapness of production in the market will secure lpldl and opti a great deal of value in the future. | riskybusiness1
20/4/2017 12:32 | haha dogwalker nice one! | branboyd1
20/4/2017 12:31 | I'm talking about this year! You think the launch next month will have a huge impact on the share price? I think you expect too much from the company at this stage. | branboyd1
20/4/2017 12:29 | Watching OPTI's share price performance is enough to increase the punter's chances of a heart attack more than the company's products can reduce them. | dogwalker
20/4/2017 12:26 | So, you don't view cholesterol and hypertension big enough markets? Wow! I think I have read enough of your drivel. | elrico |
