Not one single buy today but almost all of my biotech stocks seem to be at or near their lows so seems to be a trend here. We must surely be due an increase in the share price soon.

Also received a positive response from Anna from my email, concerning the Berlin listing. I am reassured that the company, nomad and broker will be monitoring things closely and are prepared to take action if needed.

It's certainly reassuring to know that Opti have quickly dealt with this and actioned things so as to nip this in the bud. Many thanks to Parob for spotting it (on the ball as always), John Henry for pointing out the pitfalls of it and Elrico for proactively contacting the company regarding this issue. From a grateful Sienna ; )

Huge respect to SOH - He took time out from his busy schedule to speak with me for 24 mins to deal with any concerns I may have on the topic for today - Naked shorting and the possible effects of the BB listing.

I am happy SOH and the nomad/brokers are on top of the situation and have the systems in place to deal with any illegal price manipulation naked shorting activities may have, which includes legal. OPTI have been in contacts with AIM, BB and the broker working out of the Berlin office and made them aware they are being monitored.

In my experience when companies become aware of their unauthorized listing on BB for naked shorting, contact by relevant parties is enough to cut them off at the pass. Anyone can search examples of this. It is companies that bury their heads that have most to fear. We can be thankful OPTI have a approachable proactive PR that listen to concerns and act on them, as was the case yesterday when I contacted Anna. She did not fob me off or ignore me, she phone SOH with concerns.

Hi Elric,

I can assure you that the Company have been in contact with the parties involved and made them aware of the concerns and that they will take legal action if they see any market manipulation. Opti have had intense discussions with their NOMAD and brokers and based on their wide experience believe this to be the best approach. The current advice is that as this is an open market Opti will be unable to achieve an effective delisting without any evidence of wrongdoing and to date cannot find any examples of successful delisting on BB in a comparable situation. If you have examples I can send them for review and use as a case study.

Stephen is happy to speak to you if you want to give me your number.

Regards,

Anna

Mr Market's depressive side is on show here...talk about talking it down!

Yes, we're still in the downtrend, and the 50 day SMA is acting as resistance, just overhead, but we do have the makings of a higher low and a subsequent trend reversal. The best opportunity for six months or so.

Half-full glass here...until I SEE different...

Have to say that talk of "naked shorting" and of un-authorised dealing is un-settling in the extreme; normal market forces (as in the long wait for positive news) is challenging enough - without a sinister potentially manipulative side-show. Yes I do think the company should act - to an extent that, if, as it's said, something improper is in play in Berlin, a further statement would issue and that evidence would present that the threat has gone - i.e., trading is seen to have stopped.

How the hell can the company's shares be listed on another county's stock exchange without the company's prior agreement and/approval? It beggars belief.

That's exactly what I have been saying Elrico. Company is being set up for a bear attack. Company needs to act ASAP. No other reason for a Berlin listing other than to manipulate the share price

That statement does nothing to assure me OPTI are going to cut the naked shorters off at the pass. IMO OPTI should be instructing legal counsel to instruct BB and the unauthorized broker to de-list BEFORE there is any trade activity. There are plenty of examples of this type of action being successful. There is of course plenty of examples of companies opting for a tactical bear squeeze. It is likely the naked attack will occur on the back of news likely to push the share price out of its current trend, which will of course push us back down again and possibly shake out long term holders, whom have been patient. It is these loyal and patient investors OPTI should be keen to keep on board, thus seek de-listing ASAP.

The Company notes that its shares can now be traded on Börse Berlin. The Company has not made any application for its shares to be admitted to Börse Berlin and understands that application has been made by a third party. Shares that are traded on Börse Berlin as a secondary listing need to be admitted to trading on another recognised market. The Company has no ongoing duties to Börse Berlin. The Company is unaware that there have been any trades in OptiBiotix's shares on the Börse Berlin. Optibiotix is one stock of a number of AIM securities Börse Berlin is trading. OptiBiotix and its advisers will monitor trading of the Company's shares on Börse Berlin, however as trades will ultimately be settled through the London Stock Exchange the Board does not believe that there will be a material impact on the Company.

There is a long term downtrend reaching a long term support with decreasing volume, but inidications of weakening downtrend, hence why I think we are virtually at equilibrium. Just waiting around for news. No good reason to buy or sell at the moment.

There is only one reason my a third party would nominate OPTI shares to the Berlin Bourse and that is to Naked short. Company are pretty naive if they think any different. Set up to destroy the share price
