SBTX has been enjoying an upward breakout today and both will be attending the UK Investor show:

SkinBio will be attending the UK Investor Show on April 21st....yet another promotion...Dr. Cath is being very active recently...that should boost the share price as we approach the first Human Trials.

Both SkinBio and OPTI will be exhibiting.

I think most people on here are hoping that the Rampers will get the share price to £5 with out any marketing spend.

Until the e-commerce site is up and running with a range of OPTI and partner products, theres simply nothing to promote. We are just weeks away from this and only then will we see the PR push Christina hinted of in the proactive interview.

Most of us are for the long haul, so bleating about poor PR every time the share price dips is counter productive and makes no sense.

Volume is pants. As has already been pointed out...MMs overreacting by wiping £1.6m+ off the share price for c£30k traded is, IMO designed to sucker the weak holders.

That's me done for the day, before the Chelski rent boy returns.

With the retailers they need to big, not like the very limited number of go-figure retailers. This is what worries me about SOH’s comments. He builds big expectations and then delivery is smaller. So, with experience of listening to SoH before I expect the retailers to only be a few limited chemists or maybe the half dozen wholefood stores and not the big national chains. Time will tell.

Imnotlong, in truth i'm personally not happy with the lack of marketing OPTI have shown thus far. Like you, I feel things will be somewhat under the radar to begin with, but I also think its a different beast to GoFigure. It's a bigger solution to an even bigger problem.

I don't know what else is out there in terms of reducing cholesterol on such a scale that could compete with LP-LDL (apart from margarine, obviously), but I think word of mouth alone will take us a long way.

SOH also mentioned once our e-commerce site is launched, retailers will follow, which i'd like to think would have a pretty positive impact on share price

It's just my opinion, but i've always believed LP-LDL release in the UK would be pretty big. Let's wait and see..

Lounge, how much confidence do you have that Opti will have the marketing resource to promote LP-LDL to the 7 million statin users? Until the company says anything different, I expect this to be similar to the Gofigure website i.e. small scale and low key. I do not expect this to impact the shareprice.
