HiThat's a 15% reduction in your bad cholesterol which is very good. And an increase in your good cholesterol HDL. Considering your cholesterol was not that bad to begin with that's an excellent result overall. I have just come back from holiday. Continued My LPLDL having ordered a further 6 months worth. Will recheck in 3-4 weeks. Diet not great on holiday but will ease up on the deserts etc hopefully :) I think will have more data after another test see what kind of percentage reduction I am maintaining. Chris, excuse me. you must be double blind. You have been given the names of the reviewers at least four times and the rns was clear, it was a double blind with a placebo trial over 0, 6, 12 weeks. SO here we have it confirmed, you were not really interested you were on a mission of your own to fudge data and attempt to throw mud at a certain bull. Most people realised this so filtered you, you call it bullying while ignoring your bullying tactics.

Have just had results back from my latest cholesterol test
18/july/ 17 they were
Total cholesterol= 4.7
HDL=1.3
HDL ratio = 3.6
Non HDL = 3.4

Latest Test 6/Nov/17
Total = 4.7
HDL = 1.8
HDL ratio = 2.6
Non HDL = 2.9

So that means my bad cholsterol is down .5 and my good is up .5 not sure what % that is but looking good
I have been taking LDL control for 3 months

Elrico, I agree with your post above and support the view that increasing revenue streams are not far away. You do have to ask why this is not being reflected in the share price at the moment? I really don't have the answer as markets are usually forward looking and anyone can see the multiple revenue streams that will come online for OPTI over the short, medium and long term. I can only think that more on the publicity front is needed even though there has been a step change recently. Perhaps we need more mainstream media coverage, after all, Proactive is all well and good but Jo Public probably doesn't see it. That said, I am sure once we have visibility of these revenue streams things will change.

ODR - In all probability with the existing revenues from LP-LDL and SlimBiome to come on stream est to be Jan/Feb would be difficult even for the most sceptical not to imagine OPTI reporting profitability this time 2018 on the back of revenues of c£2m. OK I'm being a little less cautious than SOH and perhap 2019 x3-4 that with EXISTING commercial deals as sale pickup momentum. But we know there are several more deals in the pipeline and each bring in multiple revenue stream and they all drop to the bottomline with PLC costs at c£900k, anyone not able to do the maths must have a brain the size of a mouse.

ODR - Agreed. IMO an RNS of that nature won't be too far away. It seems more an inevitability in my mind.

We just need need a direct RNS stating that it's going into Kelloggs or Nestle cereals and it's off to the races, you won't need figures to work out that's worth millions.

Just filter him Judi. It's Michaelmouse under a new username. He knew he lost all credibility on this board a very long time ago, therefore returned under a new name to try and build some. He can only do that buy pretending to be an investor and saying positive things, sugarcoated with 'investors need to be cautious'. In a previous post he suggested that Opti won't be responding to an email he'd sent because they probably read this board and look at his negative comments. Clearly a little deranged, and wants to discredit the company and science in small doses where he can.

I actually missed an important bit..the price

if adding it to say daily breakfast cereal means a jump in price and I don't know then persuading the consumer becomes more difficult.

these are the questions the big investors are told to wonder about when they take advice and that is why the share price is not rocketing...its not due to conspiratorial secret price manipulation and those pesky market makers.

persuade the market that consumers will go for it and up goes the price...simple as that!

We have flogged this to death even I agree.
Hopefully I will eventually get hold of the published paper.

i was only vaguely interested in the peer review itself to see if it was open i.e. comments published,who were the reviewers?,was the review single blind,double blind or did everyone know of each other i.e. not blind at all.

Its a small,simple enough trial so I am keen to have a look at a published version,let me know if you get one.

Comment on slimbiome..Very good news today because......

The failings of the micro biome concept in a 'slimming shake' is that due to the short timescale of taking,say 4 weeks,any gut metabolic effect due to the prebiotic is short lived therefore not super helpful.

Introducing everyday products will allow long term beneficial interference with the gut bacteria hopefully...of course the prebiotic will need to generate enough bacteria to produce a long term metabolic effect and not have the failings of most probiotics i.e. the levels are too low.

Optibiotix has to get over to the market and indeed the consumer that this is not another me too..Its got to be significantly better than a low carb shake with an added bulking agent as its significantly more expensive indeed its very expensive.

Its quite easy to get 100 per cent weight loss rates[in the group who follow the instructions] as any low carb shake will do this.

The magic will be long term results by the daily taking of slimbiome if it achieves the weight loss and metabolic goals.

One of my concerns over the present product is that the overall fibre content may be too high as a gut deprived of its usual amount of food is very sensitive to fibre thus I would be interested in failure rates due to gastrointestinal symptoms e.g. diarrhoea

Overall..very promising so far

I am as surprised as everyone at the lack of buying interest so far today, but even more astonished at the selling by the impatient, or those sensing immediate opportunities.More patience now required by the LTH, maybe it will liven up later in the day when there is some media coverage? I haven't yet given up hope of a close at 74p.
