I would have to respectfully disagree with you about it being a balanced post Monkeywench1.Chrisg11 suggests he/she is somewhat of an authority on the subject of cholesterol - By rubbishing Adnans results over a 3 month personal trial. While the rest of us were suitably impressed that Adnans cholesterol levels hadn't shot up significantly over the 3 month trial (coming off Statins and relying on just LPLDL), Chrisg11 with his supposed superior understanding of the subject was not impressed (basically strongly stating we've all understood the results wrong and it wasn't a great result). (As seen in post 28177).With an open mind, based on chrisg11's interpretation I wanted to verify what he stated and found something on the NHS website saying "stopping statins causes cholesterol to return to high levels within A FEW WEEKS" (post 28193). Having kept an open mind, I invited chrisg11 to furnish us with the details of where it takes longer (giving him the opportunity to strengthen the case he was making with regards to his interpretation of Adnans results being correct and the rest of us being wrong).Instead of doing so he simply stated that the NHS website was correct but then interpreted it as saying it meant "cholesterol will return to a high level in an UNSPECIFIED time of weeks". ... With all due respect, thats not what the NHS website said, that's how Chrisg11 interpreted it! (Post 28201).Adnans trial was done over 12 weeks (IMO that constitutes a few months as opposed to a few weeks). An increase from 5.5 to 6.0 over 3 months I would think cannot be considered a big increase - especially when you consider what SOH said about how the level can fluctuate 10 percent depending on what time of day you take your reading). The one thing I do agree with is that more results over an even longer period would be even more telling (hopefully for the better). I also welcome chrisg11 to actually offer up where he has got his info from instead of just expecting us to take his supposed educated word for it (especially as his perception happens to be somewhat more pessimistic than most on how well this works). Here's to being open minded and looking forward to a truly balanced post from chrig11 : )Sienna

That’s fair enough I understand
But the point I was trying to make is, If I was one of our partners we had done a deal with and Opti was then selling this same product direct to consumers via our online store, I’m not sure as a partner I would be to happy about it
More than likely I’m missing the point (dense me)
:)
But also why bother?
Do we need the hassle, the extra staff, the logistics etc etc and all that goes with being an on line product retailer?
(I realise that we already sell a few bars and powders with Max)
Maybe we do need our own on line store. Maybe it will be an important revenue stream
I’m sure SOH will do all that is best for the company and he’s a damn sight clevererererr than me!! :)

JJ from yesterday - Opti would sell the products at the same price Lactobact LDL, Cardiocare etc are currently selling at now but through their online platform. The difference is that currently these companies will get a bigger cut from the final finished product as you would expect through B2B model as they are doing all the legwork whilst Opti rolls in cost free cash from the licence deal. Using B2C model Opti can also sell these products directly to the consumer and sell at full retail cost. A very cheap and easy way of quickly building revenues through this higher profit margin channel.

Elrico, you should have a t shirt 'Why always me' embossed on it. They always make a straight line for you. Chrisg11 thinks by discrediting you people will stop voting for you and your posts will be less likey to be read when new visitors click the 'top post' option. The thing is this bb has a lot of smart investors that know votes help visitors find great posts like yours parobs, riskybusiness, shrewdmoles for example. He is not an investors, he is an imposter without doubt.

Ill give you a big hug on friday, im sure your lady wont mind xx

This chrisg chap always puts forward very negative opinions then tries to reafirm he is invested in every post almost like he is convincing himself we trust his opinion for what it is. I have first hand experience of elrico integrity as well as his humility to people that has showed him little respect as i once did. I dont visit other site but i gather he uses the same username so everyone knows its him. How many usernames does chrisg use?

A repost of Dalester's excellent post from the LSE bb back in March (he was responding to Percival/mazzstar):Having spent a number of years working in FMCG for Procter & Gamble, I didn't put my hard -earned in here to make a few quid from the first product in what looks to be developing as a massive portfolio of products suitable for addition to an vast range of products, many of which are currently unimaginable. For perspective, there are over 100 food and beverage producing companies in the UK and Ireland with turnovers of £100m or more. There are probably a1000 in the USA. and 10s of thousands around the world. Opti is not just producing a new yoghurt, or a new flavour, it is developing a whole new category of much-needed food and drink products which will have a lasting beneficial effect on the health of billions of people.Of course, distributors will be required, more-so than individual producers. Who in their right mind would allow a single company to gain exclusive use of a product capable of being licensed to 100s? Why would you put eggs as valuable as these in one basket? Think of any major food producer and you will recognise an opportunity to place OPTI products inside their tins, packets and bottles. "OPTI inside" will, in time, become as ubiquitous as "Intel Inside". Opti products offer huge differentiation to thousands of producers, all of whom spend millions advertising small changes in formulation or packaging and for whom there is genuinely little actual product difference. OPTI is a game changer. Getting started may be the equivalent of kick-starting a jumbo jet, but once it starts to roll down the runway it will eventually climb like an F15 on steroids.------------And which major food producer did we partner with this last week......? Premier Foods.Once such companies are 'on board' they're much more likely to want OPTI's other technology, in the same way that Tata started with Slimbiome, then LPGOS......then hopefully SweetBiotix?

Well it seems like the Gossip was spot on, but to be honest I thought the price would go a lot higher than it did? There is still one bit of gossip (if it's true?) That has not been released, this week? Still a good week must not grumble. DIAMOND.

Plenty of building blocks falling into place but to drive the share price materially this will require actual revenue and profit.

It is important to start to evidence the conversion of opportunities into results.

Risky

That's exactly why it's the sales growth that excites me and not initial sales.
The acceptance will snowball and once rolling it will be hard to stop.
