Because everything is already priced into the share price mate.

The market wants hard sales figures / projections now, as they have done for some time. Until that happens the share price will remain static.

It's all well and good have 'deals', 'MoUs', 'agreements' and 'partnerships' but they need to display visible revenues. SHOW ME THE MONEY indeed. Rome wasn't built in a day and a lot of patience is required.

harold... losing weight is exactly why i kept using irrespective of any issues around mixing. vested interest in success with money invested yes but not to extent i will keep taking a product that doesnt work. to be fair to gofigure the stuff does work and to be fair i really like the bars.

It's the pounds and pence coming in that we and the the institutions would like to see. I believe a huge amount of patience is needed in this stock..........something that not many PIs have!

It may be that the major players want more control over things than OPTI wanted. The truth is we just don't know why but I would rather have a company I could work with and trust than one I couldn't. I think we now need revenue and sales figures etc to back up the recent deals. When people see the real worth of OPTI things will improve quite quickly here I suspect.

I've just joined today with an initial 7k having read Hot Stk Rockets and posts here for some time. A lot seems to be happening lately with hopefully more news to come. Re harold's post about the big boys not coming in,this is still well below the radar. I'm sure if OPTI signs a couple more decent contracts, interest will increase.

We have had more positive news in the last few months then at any time in the previous 2 years and yet we are still trading in the 65p - 80p range.

I am getting the distinct feeling that we will see a major change in sentiment and price, when some trading results are published showing a turnover in excess of £5 million and a bottom line on that of circa £3 million.

At the moment SOH is rightly loathed to project any turnover figures, with new products and the general public not yet understanding what the microbiobe can do, it is a wait and see scenario.

They should give a goody bag to everyone.however if the products need to be reformulated we at least will know that the taste will be improved. We could try and see if we lose weight and if that facet works they will get new shareholders and new customers. A win win solution.
In reality if the product works and one sees reduction in weight one would carry on using it despite the taste/ lumps.

Yep!OptiBiotix will demonstrate LPLDL at stand Q137 and SlimBiome at stand Q175 during the event, held on September 27-28, where delegates can discover these leading-edge products for themselves and discuss their needs with the team.

Mega with a 20k investment you are not unbiased! You will hardly write up a bad review. One doesn't bite the hand that feeds you.
There had to be a reason why the big players did not jump in. The holy Grail of weight loss should have been grabbed with both hands.

Great to see the Slimbiome product evolution, I was never a huge fan of shakes or bars for the exact reasons listed in the RNS. Hopefully they will bring a few samples for us to road test this evening (better still when are they going to bring out Slimbiome beer!)

Haroldthegreat... I have about £20k optx and have been a recurring user of shakes and bars. the shakes HAVE had an issue with solubility ie takes too much shaking to get rid of all lumps so hopefully this adresses issue. the 3 fkavours and tastes are good and suspect have held off roll out of flavours until above resolved. all in my opinion only.

Technical Update

OptiBiotix has developed an improved version of SlimBiome(R) using advanced processing technology which provides the following benefits:-

i. Creating a single homogenous product reducing component separation in transport and improving product consistency. This opens up new application opportunities in areas which lack the ability to blend or remix SlimBiome(R) (e.g. in store bakeries)

ii. Enhanced solubility giving better product presentation and greatly enhancing flavour and mouthfeel. This improves the taste and consumer experience of products containing SlimBiome(R) such as 'GoFigure(R)' shakes and bars

Does this mean we know why the slimming products haven't had much repeat business as they don't taste or disperse as well as they should ? Why didn't they wait to launch until they solved the problems.
It might explain why slim guard didn't jump at the opportunity to add it to their range .tonights presentation might be interesting ?
Nobody who wrote up their experience on the board with go figure products mentioned the dispersion problem but the taste was commented on
.perhaps they can report on their weight loss now.

Great RNS in my eyes. Just one thing to note. We have obtained FDA registration not FDA approval which is a slightly different thing. Difference between food products and drug/pharmacy products I guess. We don't get an FDA certificate for example. Great progress nonetheless. Just wanted to point out there is a difference in the terminology.

Good announcement. Another example to why go figure was used as a soft launch...they've clearly taken all the feedback and ironed out any issues before readying for mass market. Rarely get second attempts when you fail taking something to mass market.

Addressing allot of the dislikes with the gofigure products as well as moving the product into new areas. We could see a small increase in near term revenues with new products and another later release of new products into diferent new markets. Opti continues grow...again...good stuff !!!
