25/9/2017 16:31 | Didn't expect Evans to be cleared so quickly thought we'd drop to 60. I knew once those chunky trades went through market would respond... little top up at 66p for me.Interesting trade of 700k at 69p. I think its pretty safe to say there has been some institutional activity today. | riskybusiness1
25/9/2017 16:26 | Very well spotted Dorset. Should be interesting to see where this settles. | europa79
25/9/2017 16:20 | Good Evans....up we go!!! | europa79
25/9/2017 16:17 | Elric, no problem mate. :0) | trotterstrading
25/9/2017 16:15 | IMHO share price should test 80p now the shackles are off. | john henry
25/9/2017 16:12 | Been off out for most of the afternoon, as we had gone down another 1.5p Got back and logged on to get a lovely surprise with this decent rise. Have to admit that I wasn't expecting this lovely result. John | 2350220
25/9/2017 15:48 | Trotters - I must be having a senior moment, because neither post makes sense to me ;) Devonlad - I do see your point and agree to a point. I know SOH has the same concerns as I and many OPTI PI's. He specifically mentions the toxins as a major hurdle for a company like OPTI. However, he frequently mentions Coca Cola's of this world. Perhaps this is because he knows they have a large soft drinks portfolio and the typical fizzy brand is not the be all. In which case, you may well get your wish ;) | elrico
25/9/2017 15:38 | Elrico, yes and no, it was a bit tongue in cheek but there is a moral point. If the worlds most popular drinks (for whatever reason, I can't stand them) have some health benefits then surely that is good. I don't think it is feasible anyway given the actual nature of the ingredient, but if it was, if coca cola actually had a health benefit and they could market that, surely every one would be a winner. Anyway, purely hypothetical of course. | devonlad
25/9/2017 15:38 | Eric, he's not saying OPTI is worth £3 (yet), He's saying the 'value' or 'worth' of the company back when the share price was £1 is about a third of the 'value' of the company now, based on the progress made since, e.g. Scientific, commercial deals and patents etc | trotterstrading
25/9/2017 15:36 | Strange trading last hr or so as I was able to buy at mid and bid ? 5k trade at 16.24 @ 69p was a buy. I guessing it depended which MM your broker dealt with. | john henry
25/9/2017 15:35 | That daily chart looks beautiful - how often have we seen it go the other way, up 3 p at 8:15 then closing the day down a penny ! | whl2
25/9/2017 15:35 | Hope you guys with low 60s entry point in sight we're able to mzke timely buys earlier and that you didn't adjust downwards. | owenmo
25/9/2017 15:33 | Really looking forward to the rest of the week and beyond now - enjoy your evening all. | jestercat2
25/9/2017 15:32 | Trotters - I rarely disagree with SOH, but £3 without significant revenue visibility seems at odds, given where we have been held back without the revenues. There must be a discount to any company in these situations (transition from R&D to commercial phase), and yet I get we have several IP's/strains potentially worth more than the LGG strain Chr Hansen paid, but OPTI's have a few years before they are as mature is LGG. The point I'm making (clumsily) is OPTI's future value will not be valued on revenues/profits alone but increasing and significant value to strains like LP-LDL, no name just 1 of 8. | elrico
25/9/2017 15:27 | Buys close to 70p again now - have we finally seen the back of the 60s? | jestercat2
25/9/2017 15:27 | It's no coincidence the overhang was cleared today, expect a raft of news this week IMO. SOH would have wanted a clean slate for the biggies IMO | trotterstrading
25/9/2017 15:24 | Devonlad - I really hope not. OPTI are a healthy company, fizzy drinks companies have more horrors in their drinks than just high sugar content. OPTI won't need a deal with those type of company. I expect a number of US related announcements with LP-LDL, SlimBiome commercial ties. Sacco already have several companies showing a keen interest in using LP-LDL in their products before the exhibition, so this interest is only going to increase. | elrico
25/9/2017 15:20 | When I said to SoH the share price has plateaued over the past 18months, he said he believes we are 'worth' x3 times the value we were when share price was £1 | trotterstrading
25/9/2017 15:15 | Highest daily volume ever... | someuwin
25/9/2017 15:11 | Does feel like news has been held back slightly TT, I know TW was expecting more this month so who knows. Hopefully plenty of deals to be done this week, Coca Cola or Pepsi with a new healthy version would be a bit too far perhaps, or maybe not... | devonlad
25/9/2017 15:07 | Tuesday blockbuster RNS anyone? ;0) | trotterstrading
25/9/2017 15:06 | Would I be right in assuming that the 750k is a buy? | siennadelekat21
25/9/2017 15:05 | It would appear SOH has put a rocket under FINNCAP in order to get DE overhang out of the way. I wonder why!! | elrico
25/9/2017 15:02 | FinCap have found a home.. added!we should be back in the 80's in no time!! | trotterstrading
25/9/2017 15:01 | Excellent news, now we can move forward. | rafboy |
