08/8/2017 17:15 | John Henry, don't worry mate you won't regret that decision in a year's time when Opti is 40p. | talkingtrading
08/8/2017 16:32 | On other (skin) bb I bemoaned the fact that as yet to-day I appear to be the sole (very) modest buyer. It's as though the market knows something I don't. Would have thought that access at ipo price was tempting. Clearly not so. But hopefully SKIN will have its day | owenmo
08/8/2017 15:57 | JH - move on mate, your negativity is just getting boring. You are not happy with this investment so please do us a favour and sell up so we don't have to read your rubbish again! | primal123
08/8/2017 15:53 | Sometimes it's good to be wrong, around last June During a little local investors meeting I put Optibiotix forward as an investment case, Horizon Discovery was put forward by another investor, luckily they chose HZD and not OPTI | john henry
08/8/2017 14:58 | Don't get to excited someuwin it's probably shrewdie and he'll be selling em soon :) | scotty1

08/8/2017 13:09 | Owen - It is odd reading ones own obituary, if one can call it that. Though not quite an outer-body experience, it was strange, more so given the level of my engagement and enthusiasm for the sampling of Belgium ales. Thankfully, I am indeed restored to life.I'm an grateful to someuwins prompt removal of the obituary as I am of the kind words at my wake. ;)To your point about the trolls. I agree to a point. However, in talkingtrade & talkingtrades, I felt it worthwhile reminding the trade guru of an essential fact, in that over 80% of traders trades a losing trades. In TT&TTs case, it is clear to all that have been here long enough will most likely have worked out the losing trade has got the better of emotions and instead of learning something about ones self, blames OPTI BOD and corporate governance for the ill fated trades. Baiting investors now seems to be the currency of value rather than learning and moving on.Back to my jollies. | elrico
08/8/2017 13:02 | In my previous post it's tts not tt I suggested isolating - in case tt is "one of us"! | owenmo
08/8/2017 12:35 | Welcome back in fullest sense of the expression, Elrico! Not of opinion that TT and TTS are one and the same, but what odds. I'd like to see this BB engage at arms length from TT, MW, MM, RV and other deviants; by all means responding/reacting - only never directly. Let's discuss them as needs be among ourselves; all the while giving them short shrift as regards one-on-one exchanges. Send them to Coventry; talk about them, just no to them as it merely encourages them. Wbat is it to us whether or not TT worked in a corporate environment? | owenmo
08/8/2017 12:09 | Talkingtrades aka talkingtrade - as pointed out, wrong use of the term carrot and even more ludicrous given corporate history of dangling carrots as a flag to investor for the FUTURE growth of the company and of course, investors investment. OPTI have limited capacity to negotiate with 30+ companies and various stages, patience is required. Investors investors, traders trade, the latter more often than not get it WRONG. Fact!Key words for your benefit; future, growth. | elrico
08/8/2017 11:58 | This story today about lack of 'Traffic light' colour codes on breakfast cereals ties in with what SoH recently said... 'Scandalous' lack of sugar warnings on cereals Campaigners are urging shoppers to avoid brands that are "hiding something" by failing to have colour-coded labels on their boxes. Breakfast cereal manufacturers are being attacked over their "scandalous" decision not to use colour-coded labels that reveal the sugar content of their products. Action on Sugar is calling for "traffic light" front of pack (FOP) nutrition information to be included on all food and drink products. But it says many companies are not using the Department of Health endorsed system, even though their products contain so much sugar they would attract a red label. The organisation found that manufacturers including Bear, Jordans, Kellogg's and Nestle do not use colour-coded labels. Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Honey and Nut Clusters - as well as Jordans Country Crisp with Crunchy Chunky Nuts - were among products singled out by the group... SoH... "...In our discussions with global partners in the consumer markets they want to be able to present products containing ingredients which show up as green on the traffic light system (or similar systems across the world). Our discussion with regulators in most major markets have given us confidence that we can label these are fibres. So commercially you could have a product which is sweet, high in fibre (green), and low in sugar (green). To exaggerate the point to get across the potential you could potentially have a healthy Mars bar (or similar snack). So this opens up the opportunity for healthy snacks and confectionary." | someuwin |
