31/7/2017 19:39 | The £2.50 comment was somewhat tongue in cheek! However, five similar deals to what we've already had should give us profit well in excess of £1 million! Then there is the potential for a major announcement regarding a multi national (most probably Tata) which we've been told could be worth in excess of £5 million alone! Add on any number of the 30 plus interested parties and we should be looking at £10 million plus revenue in the next 12/ 18 months or so (if all goes to plan) PE ratios for the sector can be up to 20 and so there's the £2.50 potential! This also does not touch on the future potential of healthy fibres and skinbiotherapeutics which -if it captures investors imaginations- and decent press coverage could re- rate us all on its own! Exciting times... even if the day to day movement has been and is - pretty tedious! | f3rdinand
31/7/2017 17:38 | Very astute andrew7777, if anyone is playing a game and is actually Talking Trades, i'd say this Andrew is 2/1 | neftanikoff

31/7/2017 16:22 | I have just had a look at Stephen O Hsras background, he seems well fitted, a combination of scientist and business man which is rarer than hens teeth. Also am I correct in thinking that two fairly senior managers left within last year, to be replaced by managers with more experience of the commercialisation side of things? Would i be right in thinking the risk therefore lies in the time it takes to move from patents, licenses placements etc to actual revenue streams? | andrew7777
31/7/2017 16:16 | The talkingtrades of 2016 - Talkingtrades The talkingtrades of 2017 - talkingtrade (not the same person) The talkingtrades of 2018 - Neftanikoff | rickyvee
31/7/2017 16:16 | Your idea of ramping and the confirmed share business defintion are miles apart monkey. Crying and anger, another falsehood, why bother if that is the best you can do. I know most have you on filter. But it still would be nice to see a posting of interest on OPTI from you, instead of the 1 line rubbish. Prove everyone wrong and change your colours. andrew7777, have we tempted you,..... no reply needed rickyvee, the bucket shop thread is the where you should be. actual offer the same, but at least the bid has 'jumped' up to 66 | neftanikoff
31/7/2017 16:07 | Nefy Have you stopped ramping and crying yet? Oh and the anger!!! | monkeywench1

31/7/2017 15:43 | Rickyvee, pure conjecture. We could be there sooner or later. Lets wait and see the impact of some large commercial contracts. | rafboy
31/7/2017 15:27 | £2.50 is at least five years away (provided all goes to plan) so I hope your boss doesn't mind you not coming back at all Ferdinand | rickyvee
31/7/2017 15:22 | Andrew, I suspect the market wants more visibility on projected revenues etc. This will come over the next few months. However take a look at the management and have a look at their background. They are all sound IMHO. | rafboy
31/7/2017 15:15 | Good Afternoon Fair Point. I have just read the optibiotix website, Increased R&D expenditure offset by joint development income Substantive increase in IP portfolio Five to 11 patents Three to eight strain registrations Three to seven trademarks Commercial agreements in each platform. Which is precisely my point it all sounds very well organised, planned and sensible. So why has the share price not broken above 80p except for very brief periods? My intention is not to make people feel stupid, rather to understand why the share is stuck in the 60-80p range for long periods when the underlying activity appears to be very promising | andrew7777
31/7/2017 15:03 | Actually if it's the guys first day then maybe he should just monitor all those lovely r.n.s statements that we are due...maybe that's not such a good idea or he will think that all aim companies are like it. | bobdown2
31/7/2017 14:54 | Hi Andrew, do you like cheese? | loungeact
31/7/2017 14:53 | andrew for one start it's afternoon, for another read posts and do the research, for another what name was you before this one you joined as today. | scotty1
31/7/2017 14:52 | Andrew read through recent RNS and look at the company web site. What we have is all backed up by science and the first deals have already been struck. We are very early on in the commercialisation phase so revenue is currently limited. | rafboy
31/7/2017 14:22 | Good morning Would someone please explain to me why optibiotix is generally considered a good medium term share. I have seen a lot of talk about deals, licenses, royalties and platforms but relatively little revenue. Are these deals, licenses etc actually worth something or are they dependent upon optibiotix further developing the science, in which case other companies may well overtake them. I observe several people on this site are big fans, however I find it confusing theat when a RNS is posted generally the price of this share drops? I guess what I am asking is what makes this share different to various other jam tomorrow shares, most of which come to naught. | andrew7777
31/7/2017 14:18 | The wife is not happy, cancelled date night tonight and bought 300 shares instead.Just sent me a poo emoji.. | 1bokke
31/7/2017 14:08 | Nice 29k share buy just gone through on Nex. Probably what has kept the share price up this morning. | rafboy
