Lactobact LDL-Control capsules have arrived. Ordered on Monday so only took 3 days for delivery. The LP-LDL logo is very clear on the back on the box.

Don't think we could say all that's happened with this company is at "a snails pace".
It's a relatively new company, and as I've always understood, new start-ups are rarely profitable in their first few years.

O/T...might be worth taking a punt on Boohoo (BOO) before trading update next month.

JH, indeed, OPTI is a UK company and yet atm, these pills have to be purchased overseas, with high postage, seems absurd, must be a reason to start off this way.
Slarty/Elrico, yes Adnan has adhered to my point, but in reality just how many Doctors are aware of these pills, hardly any i would imagine. Might be a mention in medical journals, but it does seem slow going.
About time they announced sales in UK via Boots/superdrug/lloyds, etc., with the help of the Daily Express front page (free advertising if cash is at a premium), i am just so impatient for some sort of action to get this share price moving.
Fundamentally, advertising is needed and the medical profession aware, otherwise, progress is going to be snails pace, imo

Adnan - In response to your comments in April;

Adnan "As a GP I can prescribe certain items that are classified as a food product recent examples are glucosamine and certain vitamin d preps. If there is no pharmaceutical alternative we are free to prescribe. I would like to see SOH make chlorbiome and cardiobiome available in this way. This could be prescribed as monotherapy or as an addition to lower dose statin. Most people do not tolerate the recommended higher doses."

SOH "Their will be a range of products coming through which he (Adnan) and others should find of interest which can be bought on line or through pharmacies. We are just at the start of the commercialisation process and are building our B2B and B2C platforms with a number of partners."

Bob - 25276 was a very brief cut & paste from volume one in the header. SOH help compile it and fact check it, so you can read it with confidence this BBM at least had an accomplice :)

Much more detailed coverage as follows;

a. Demonstrate the future potential value of Optibiotix LP-LDL® by
using Chr Hansen LGG strain as a benchmark
b. Identify key differences between the two strains
c. Identify superior advantaged of the LP-LDL® over LGG
d. Identify the diversity of LP-LDL® over LGG
e. Commercial strategy
f. Risk averse strategy

Topped up today with a couple of 10k buys into ISA

Good luck

Is it right, say OPTI reducing cholestrol pills are on sale on the shelves at Boots
Let's just say that the doctor tells mr B that he has high cholestrol. The doctor prescribes pills for Mr B to take behind the counter. Is the doctor allowed to say to mr B that there are better pills he can buy over the counter at Boots? And will the doctor even know about these opti pills ?

As soh is not on this thread to reply, Elrico, what is your take?

I am quite sure a retailer in the UK is in talks with OPTI about selling these products. I cannot wait to be able to walk into a shop or buy online within the UK. I guess that will be when we go to the press because that publicity should see a decent uplift in sales. It is all coming together folks and revenue is increasing as I type this!

Well they might take notice and get media attention, if we did have a supply agreement for the UK. I don't see why you guys should have to pay extra to buy these things in Germany. If they are that good, get them into Boots, etc.,or is that being too simplistic/am i being naive ?

Yeah, we don't even have a supply agreement for the UK yet so it's early days...but just surprised more media outlets aren't reporting on the massive future potential of the microbiome and OPTI! Lowering cholesterol significantly and replacements for sugars are major topics yet no one appears interested...yet!

I was thinking the same thing F3rdinand, but I had another thought since.
Wouldn't it be more of a disaster if we got well publicised and promoted, only to find that we don't have stocks to cover demand, with the various suppliers?
I know that it's great that HLH are actively selling products, but we'll need a lot more production from the other contacts and products widely available on shelves, before this can be promoted bug time IMHO.
But I have zero doubt all of this will fall into place. Just a matter of time.

I'm quite frankly amazed at the low level of media interest in what OPTI has produced! There was that infamous Daily Mail front page over a year ago, but nothing since! Maybe OPTI should be promoting itself more to bring its technology to a wider mainstream audience (and thus potential share holders) The need for the products is greater than ever!

Just look at the chart, the days of buying in the 60's are numbered IMO as we climb out of the most recent dip.I wouldn't mind a steady climb up to 85p, and then the Tata RNS (or one of similar size) to hit. That should break us above 85p once and for all. Looking forward to the whiplash!!!
