Myself, and only 5 others have rated your post Primal, (at the time of posting) even though it's speaks volumes.
Well I for one thank you for posting it.
When all is said and done, it really is early days in any company's timeline.
I need more patience... and maybe others too?

JH, my feeling is some II's will start buying on the open market once a couple more revenue-generating deals are announced. Thanks for sharing Primal. Now is the time to be buying and taking advantage of those who have sold and brought the price down!

Parob part of the problem here and our CEO agrees is the lack of institutional holders. When you have a stock whose investors are more or less all retail based then share price will swing wildly. The market needs numbers, without forget any movement forward in the share price Im sure Stephen O Hara recognises this. Today there was simply no buyers and a few stale bulls throwing in the towel.
Institutional Investors are lazy they will always want a cheap way in through a placing. If the company does not need to raise funds then they have to invest through the open market. Buying 1 MIllion shares in the open market would probably run the price to 100p which obviously they are not prepared to pay. i think FCAP have been placing YSF shares when available.

Some people really need to look at the bigger picture and stop looking for short term gain. I emailed SOH again as some are still questioning this company, here is some of what he said:"Its clear that some investors are taking a short term perspective and awaiting deals with numbers. This is important if the company is short of money. However, we have £2m in the bank and a low burn rate and whilst working to get deals across the line we have to be careful we don't compromise on deal quality and create problems for the future in a rush to allay retail investors short term anxieties.I believe the next phase of substantive share growth will come as we gain commercial traction with our products, which based on the high level of interest and ongoing discussions, look extremely promising. Investors who attended my Investor Show or results presentation will be aware that this is all part of a structured plan and the reason we appointed a new Commercial (Per Rehne) and Sales Director (Christina Wood) in Jan 2017. They joined us at the end of March and as planned we launched products in May. We appreciate that investors want news on revenue forecast and this will come as we build our consumer and pharmaceutical commercial partnerships across national and international territories and develop a trading history. Its would be very easy for me to give numbers to appease investors and stimulate the shareprice. However, I try to make sure that any numbers are credible and deliverable and for this we need a trading history or forecasts from our distributors. At this stage without all the deals being in place and a history of distributor performance any forecast would be nothing more than a guess and lack any credibility. As we conclude more deals in the next few months and can share how they are structured (e.g profit share, royalties, minimum guarantees -which vary by territory and channel) we can look at building projections which have an element of reliability. I have always said (see May's RNS) we are trying to build multiple deals with national and international partners in different territories and channels (pharma, retail, online etc) and this strategy is on track with HLH being the first of what we hope will be a number of deals coming through in the forthcoming weeks and months from large and small partners alike. "There is more as SOH stresses that those who sell will lose skin shares. And that II's are taking positions, let's see what happens! I hope those selling will live to regret it! Keep the faith!

Incredible that such a positive RNS, updating the market on successful taste studies of SweetBiotix - an innovative product which has the potential to address huge global public health problems such as obesity and diabetes - can bring out so many negative posters today. Anyone would think bad news had been released!

I admit it can be a depressing watching the daily drop, as it was watching the price go from 90p to 60p (April to Dec 2016 and April to May 2017) but just remember sentiment can change very quickly with OPTI and when it turns the move can be pretty rapid. You've only got to look at the chart to see it. My money's on a strong bounce and reversal over the coming days.

I wouldn't give TW the steam off my p~~
I used to follow him absolutely and lost thousands as a result, along with many other folks too, I expect.
I really think that we have far more knowledge, honesty and integrity with most of the posters on this board than we ever will have with TW IMHO.

TW is closer to the company than most being involved in the original IPO, however nothing he has said has come to fruition, therefore I wouldn't hang my hat on his latest comment.

Jester, the trouble is we have heard similar words before from other tipsters etc. What we need is visibility of a deal whilst recognising that management cannot give precise details away. There are many of us who have been holders for several years now and most have faith in both OPTI and SOH. Yes, that faith has been tested, the SBTX share disposal for one, but I believe we are closer now to announcements of further deals with some numbers attached. Hopefully that will lead to proper revenue forecasts and then the share price will recover.

Also, at some point the SBTX share disposal will be announced and that will be a welcome relief. Today's RNS shows that things are moving in the right direction on the sugar front. That has to be a positive. Meanwhile, we see the share price suffer but this cannot go on forever. I am keeping the faith; although, I do agree with the comments earlier that we need new investors to climb aboard. That will happen once we have those deals and some figures attached so we can see potential revenues.

Reason why we don't hear it straight from Ohara is because he's not the one drip feeding information to HSR. That would be Adam Reynolds who has filled up little Winny's head before with rumours about deals and big news on the horizon. I don't trust them.

For what it's worth - update from Hot Stocks Rockets says:

"Our conversations with Optibiotix lead us to expect the sort of announcements that investors are demanding soon;. that means deals with big name companies with an indication of value."

The way this market has been reacting to any product update has been really poor. I suspect that we will only see a major increase in price once some accounts have been published and some actual figures can be read. If/When we get a £10 million turnover and £7 million bottom line then the share price will rocket.

Someone here tried a dummy sell earlier and said it wouldn't go through. I just tried a dummy sell of all my shares and it was accepted no problem.

And the issue of SBTX shares remain unresolved. Is that going to turn out to be another deal we are still waiting for and nothing ever comes of it? Ohara must think we are mugs or what.

When you have been at this game for 25 years and more , then you see the same thing happening over and over again

Punters on AIM like a nice story

They buy on the bigger and better the story is

For real Tall stories that promise huge growth .... they pay top dollar

Like the beans in Jack and the beanstalk sort of ... Tall stories = Fairy stories

For every 10 tall story AIM stocks that Mug Punters buy , only 1 on average makes it to profit land.

end of chapter 1.

We've been saying it will happen for ages now, the longer it goes on the more the market gets fed up.

I'm not expecting miracles but an update on the strategy towards commercialisation is needed badly.
