Regrettably typical of the company that thy have not issued an RNS about the results of the AGM, especially inexcusable as the meeting was held in the morning and one imagines there could be no surprises. But I suppose they may ask themselves 'Why bother?' The company certainly gives the impression that as Ashok are controlling shareholders everyone else is irrelevant. A little short-sighted if that in fact is the case IMHO, for it might just influence some bus-buyers' decision making. And not in a good way for the company.

4.5m of buys today. Is someone trying to pretend something happened at AGM? Maybe someone did resign :) Or was there some real news? No PR or RNS.

Well Kim I'm sure that you're not losing the plot as you maintain a sense of humour in adversity with OPE! It can be hoped that the company is continuing to make further cost savings and, of course, we do not know how many buses have been built in the month for export, however it seems highly probably that August will have added to indebtedness. I remain gloomy though as I cannot, with the level of debt the company is carrying and paying interest upon, envisage any scenario in which the company can trade its way out of its predicament.

Bonito is Spanish for nice, maybe they should have called it Desagradable ie nasty, they may have sold 2!

Another loss JSB? Could it be less of a loss or more of a loss though? Will the company ever become lossless or is it a lost cause. Am I losing the plot? 😀

That is 1 less than last year but with Alexander Dennis leading in August with just 27 that is not too bad!
