I guess many remember the hysteria of Peak Oil a few yrs ago. We are actually drowning in oil. What a scam and well executed by the banksters who sold the idea (and the equities) to everyone. The lesson being the next time we hear of a so called shortage or peak/trough in demand ,just do the opposite of what you would expect as a result of the story.
This is stuck in a rut price rise from which it appears it will be some time for it to escape from .

Ed - yes. Nothing new today really. Whilst positive, we knew this was coming a few weeks ago. Price is critical.

they have only reduced by 0.2% in the last month, so time will tell where the share price will be if they continue

When WQ have finished unwinding their shorts, their buying stops. So, with less buying, where does the share price go?

Today's news reads well to me but the market has not warmed to it. Is the market waiting for full agreements to be signed and offtake pricing details to be revealed? With the full information it will be possible to calculate a more confident valuation of Fortuna.

Ophr probably would have been up by a couple of percentage today without today's rns as some other energy shares are up. So today's rns and saving and savings of 200m appears to count fir nothing to the MMS

If the news however was that the cost has increased by 200m or even 20m then the share price would have been well below 80p by now or more. Mm rules everyone else paralysed
