Why UP today?............ Double bottom
When the share price was as an Intraday low, it was much at the same price as last September lows, representing a double bottom on the chart. At the same time the Oil price started to climb from the recent lows that in a way was also much the same lows as last September, so also double bottom for the Oil price.

Oil price.....

Everything I own that is remotely rwlated to oil/gas/diamonds is getting hammered today

Oil price has been stable last two days, so im guessing the strength of king dollar that is fuelling the mass exodus

Like pushing at an open door but it's not so hard to understand in
this market is it Nigel ?.
Its always the macro's that lose you/make you the most money and we are not in that positive space at the moment. We might just as well be gold miners.

FLNG looks like a fantastic technological plus but cash flow in H2 2019? - and then you can see on top of that what the market thinks of gas from the BLVN response over the past few days.

That last Thai duster wasn't at all good - makes you worry they overpaid for SMDR even allowing for the general market correction.

The good thing is that it isn't that far off being a takeover target at some point which is a good limitation on the downside from here.

Well someone is repeatedly hitting the bid to push it down, then topping up the offer side at a lower price.

Trouble is, there doesn't seem to be much resistance (ie buyers) to counter it

Sweet credit probably gone short since their new price target of 100p..... Classic mm tactics

There is an active seller/shorter on the SETS book - not in huge size, but the price is continually being worked lower

I wonder what the SMDR share price would have dropped to by now if OPHR had not scooped them up.

9% spike :)

Must be Tullow holders bailing on Kenya P&A (Hopeful speculative thinking rather than prescient!)

Actually I take that back. Do all the political chat you want if share price performance will be directly impacted ;-)

I certainly agree with Fangorn on this matter.
Far to much ignoring of the consequences of mass immigration. Interesting that the Saudis have not taken in a single refugee as its allegedly destabilising for the country but are happy to pay the cost of the building of 200 mosques abroad..
