11/12/2020 07:32 | JJ, leopards don't change their spots CF has always been and is a deal maker,i hold here because i trust his judgement on the end deal. | e43
11/12/2020 07:26 | Hi Extrader, Am not reacting to your post but responding. I think if Orph were taken over you could possibly see CF tied in for even longer than he is now. But to leverage some cash he may up his salary in such a circumstance. I just think that it is way to early for a takeover. If CF needs a bonus to pay for his new house in London then the Imutex deal or special dividend is the way to do it. It's easy to say but I think if we just sit tight and be patient, this ship is being steered on a great journey, and whilst they say it is better to travel than to arrive, the longer we travel the better it will be. Regards NTS | nickthe saint
11/12/2020 07:24 | As much as I like how CF is apparently aligned with shareholders I do find it very odd that he now want’s to keep a cap on the share price 🤷a | judijudi
10/12/2020 20:42 | Yes Extrader, a takeover or similar would no doubt free his stock from the lock in, also he could receive any dividends paid in that period. | troutisout
10/12/2020 20:38 | Hi all, People keep saying ..” Given he is tied in for almost 2 more years ....” but surely any no share disposal commitment is qualified by ‘events’ such as takeovers or similar corporate actions ? Not addressed to Nts, btw, more a general comment ! ATB | extrader
10/12/2020 20:11 | Evening All, my feeling is that CF wants the share price to be £1+. That takes it to $1Bn Mkt Cap more or less. Given he is tied in for almost 2 more years why would he want the share price to get to £1 before then? 22p now +50% = 33p 33p in 6M +50% = 50p 50p in 12M + 50% = 75p 75p in 18M +50% = 115p. He has told us how he is going to hopefully move the share price and that he looks to have $1Bn. Regards NTS | nickthe saint
10/12/2020 19:29 | It is the latest presentation and CF did mention last night that it was already out of date. Got to say, he is certainly doing a grand job! | gregb
10/12/2020 19:04 | That PDF is out of date, it doesn't include the Wellcome Trust news (fee paying) or the latest Venn contract. | owenski

10/12/2020 17:15 | I believe there is a method in his madness trying to subdue the sp,i would have thought all you experienced investors/traders would have come up with his method 😉😜 | scotty1
10/12/2020 16:29 | Plenty of good news out there Judi. If people don't absorb it and realise the actual never mind the potential then it will be their loss. They will be paying a lot lot more when we do have further news, but maybe some will be happier doing that. I have had a dig at CF for playing the share price down, but an hour or two's worth of research will certainly give someone a fair idea that we are currently undervalued. Frustrating, but I am sure patience will pay. IMHO. | m5
10/12/2020 16:27 | I think it's fair to say that outside the significant news we are waiting for, we will have a significant base re-rate when the company announces some financial results that cover this period of profit and increased revenue. I think it will be significant. | lako42
10/12/2020 15:57 | Doesn’t look like it’s gonna be today Good news required | judijudi
10/12/2020 15:09 | Feels like it should be moving north from here fairly soon... hope I'm not deluded!!! | felchandbart
10/12/2020 14:46 | Agree, the CEO's job is to run the business and not the share price. Get on with the job, the share price is the market's job and it will be what it'll be. | owenski

10/12/2020 12:56 | New Imperial College London Recruitment for SARS-CoV-2 human challenge study ‘We are looking for two Research Technicians. This is an exciting opportunity to provide technical support to the internationally recognised research laboratory led by Professor Wendy Barclay. You will support the Barclay research group in carrying out processing and characterisation of samples from a SARS-CoV-2 human challenge study.’ hxxps://www.imperial Cathal stated last night that ORPH were unlikely to RNS any ethics committee approvals, but everything was in order and without any issues to report. I think the above provides more concrete evidence (if any more was needed), that the various parties involved in the Covid CHIM study, are progressing everything well and may even have received ethical approval already(if the Imperial College London applied for the ethics approval, ORPH would be under no obligation to RNS it in any case). Either way, it appears we are well down the road to starting the Covid CHIM’s in the New Year. GLA LTH’s | trader_3
10/12/2020 12:51 | Pierre exactly, the bread and butter is not reflected in the company shareprice never mind the disposables and data which are both estimated to be worth more than the current company share price according to CF. Its good to chew the fat though and make sure we are all not crazy. | pogue
10/12/2020 12:38 | I don't thing CF should comment on the share price at all. The share price will take care of itself if he gets everything over the line business wise. Market on a downer generally today, lots of my stocks are red. | fozzie
10/12/2020 12:38 | Thanks for the comments. I think different things are said at different times - not surprising since things are changing all the time - e.g. the pricing. There are lots of ways to try to estimate orph's worth - we can't at the moment look up past results and work out, or guess, a value that way, which is what i usually do. We really are dealing with best estimates here, so whatever we do it'll be rough and ready. However, we all seem to conclude that orph's basic bread and butter business is worth far more than it's current cap - even with the most pessimistic numbers. Then we have to add on the value of imutex and wearables, where reasonable guesses value those extremely highly (but based on non traditional valuation methods, i.e. guesswork!) Not ideal, but the best we can do with the data we have. (Shows you the value of data!). (One thing worth noting, my way of thinking when estimating these things is that e.g. ten million quid means between 5 and 15 million quid - nothing is anywhere near exact - it's all just ballpark or order of magnitude). | pierre oreilly
10/12/2020 12:34 | There will be reason for it, there always is. share price has risen on the back of the business being transformed and meaningful news flow. The fantastic job CF, and the team have done, and are continuing to do, is not in any question. We just now have IMHO quite a substantial disconnect. | m5 |
