On the Beach Group plc (LSE: OTB.L), a leading UK online retailer for beach holidays, announces that Hawksford Trustees Jersey Limited (as trustees of the Sule Cooper 2014 Settlement) , a PCA of Simon Cooper (Founder and Chief Executive Officer of On the Beach Group plc), notified the Company on 19 August that he had purchased 1,530,141 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at price of 129.54 pence per Ordinary Share (GBP1.98m in aggregate).

Following this purchase, Simon Cooper, will have an interest in 9,379,744 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.64% of the issued share capital of the Company, as outlined below.
