It looks like 60p will be reached sooner than I thought, something must be going on behind the scene, maybe we'll hear something in the weekend press or the company will issue an RNS next week ?

I can see the trades going through today - loads of 5K, 10K & 20K buy orders.
Obviously the little guys. So why are they buying?

What's going on - have I missed a tip in the national papers or something?
I don't see the info that is driving the price up?

The share price rise today does'nt suprise me one bit. I just had another read of QuinetiQ's recent results announcement. The size of the contracts that could be awarded to the OMG/QuinetiQ partnership is potentially twice the current market cap. of OMG. Just think what the Sp will do when these are announced

While the share price looks fairly valued on current eps, contract news could send this soaring. Top-slice if you want, but make sure and keep some. OMG is the type of share that could be 300p in a couple of years and you will be kicking yourself if you miss out.

Inntolife,

I've been investing since 1995 and made many trades , but never on a T20 I have always had to have the funds in my account to purchase the shares.

Yes I had heard of a T10 and T20 but didn't know the mechanics of it and why would I if I have never bought on credit ?

I'm also not a De-Ramper...I'm chairman of an investment club and we hold 32k of OMG. I will admit I am lobbying the members to sell them, but so far have been unsuccessful in getting them sold.

I'm not looking for aggro, just creating debate.

To all concerned

DE-RAMPER ALERT

Assegai Warrior,

Try and get your story stright if you have been

"investing long enough to realise the markets is geared up to take your money and I have lost plenty to it over the years"

why did you ask me such a simple question in your post number 262?

dynamix.... Yes agreed the biggest retrace has only been 2 pence since the trading statement, but surely we all expected the share price to rise in the run up to the finals.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing OMG I like them a lot and selling my holding might be a mistake, but all I would have lost is an investment opportunity. I've been investing long enough to realise the markets is geared up to take your money and I have lost plenty to it over the years by believing seductive CEO's and Chairman statements.

The moment I have an uneasy feeling about any of the companies I invest in, I bail out.

Like I said I'm jittery over the statement "negative impact on short term profit growth". I've seen this statement many times before and short term can quickly change to long term.

cheers

AW - My thoughts exactly. That negative impact etc is a little too open ended for me and I've bailed out.
