Grasping at straws and had another look at the December 2020 Quarterly Report again to see if there was any clues on why volume exploded. All I could see was that

It has sold 5m/24.5m Armour shares realising AUS$250k which keeps us going to presuambly the Bhandut proceeds -

'The Company anticipates receiving cash proceeds of US$0.29 million in regard to the sale of Bhandut shortly and further proceeds from cash calls from the Indian projects.'

Plus further down the line, gas production at Cambay, following Environmental Clearance, should complete 'soon'

Nothing else appears as soon, though with the oil price increases it surely should allow GSPC to reopen discussions to sell their projects inc Cambay

Thought I'd have a little look at ZPHR and XTR, both of which rocketed up during the last month or so. Clear volume increase followed by a massive uplift in share price for both. Not saying it's going to repeat here, but if the recent trend continues through the early part of the week we could be in for some fun.

Partly agree. Ive also seen many transformational RNSs come through, and when you look back at the share price you see both upward movement and increased volume.Like you say, the future will explain if there is anything here or not.

I'm just not buying the whole "news leak" stuff, never have, wish ya all the best, but at close it should answer a few questions either way, is the "leak" believed or not ? That's the question ... And it's Friday ... say no more.

This was kicked off with a 29m buy that was worked through for 24 hours. When it started on 3rd, there were only 7 trades to the tune of about 8m shares that day. That feels more like somebody who knows something and is getting in first. You dont punt £20k+ on a £2m MC as a blind bet.

CAMBAY - The prefered buyer of GSPCs 55% share was selected many months ago but i haven't seen any mention of who the buyer is. Must have leaked by now?

A lot of people sold out. It is inevitable that the sale will eventually come through. And when it does people will not be expecting it. Only the lucky few that stayed in and bought early will be the ones selling first on the rise. The clue in the QR is switching the well back on in the near future. Cambay is going to be back open soon.

Early birds taking positions and probably some punts thrown in ready for the Cambay sale completion. No one knows how much longer it’s going to take but it’s a guaranteed bag once it’s finally over.
