In the same time offer has gone from 0.66 to 0.75 and still over 8m has been bought.

THAT IS FACTS. MM are struggling to meet demand.

There must be orders filling up in the background as no buys going through above normal market size, so it may be that order hitting for fill or kills only. The longer that goes on and no one is selling, the MM will have to raise the bid as it will lose business. Problem is no one might sell until much higher.
