I'm sure Alan is a lovely guy.
People say that about me...However if I don't pay their wages that might think of me differently.
Pascals dilemma...what's this the next RNS update!!
I hope and look forward to 5p and onward. However give me something...
I too have years...and looking forward to my investment growing.
The frustration is the day trading and now back to placing.
If divine intervention is what we need...god help us!!

Hi Lyates

Believe it or believe it not, at one time a couple of years ago (pre-massive dilution) I was the largest pi with a declared interest above the 3% level and had regular contact with the company, primarily with Tej and Alan Minty.

My last major contact with Alan was about 2 years ago (or was it 3?) when I fired off a very chastening email about the shareprice which at that time was 5p!!!!!!!

His reply addressed my questions but ended by quoting Pascal’s dilemma which I have to confess I looked up for clarification and was somewhat reassured by its definition which is one of the main reasons for sticking with him and his Company as I do genuinely trust the guy, having met him on several occasions.

Of course, knowing what the shareprice is today, I wish I’d sold out at that time but I don't blame him personally for that - things are what they are and I have never been a trader as I’ve always been in for the long run so que sera, sera.

I believe Alan Minty to be an ethical man with a fairly strong religious background (look up Pascal's dilemma)and on that basis I’m sticking with NUOG; in fact I’ve increased my holding by about 3 million over the last 2 weeks to now hold about 10 million.

Will I ever get my money back? Heaven knows (excuse the pun) but what I do know is that when/if the first project is signed up this company will be worth more than 3 million pounds ….. a lot more, and I’ve got a few more years in me to see that come to pass!!!!

We all want to see a return on our financial commitment to the company.
I feel as I said before we can continue to play the game of delay after delay, and although I realise that divulging any information will cause issues for Nigel, he can not shy away from the fact that medium to long term holders have been more than patient.
I would like them to enjoy Christmas with their families and for us as well, and in the new year we see what is produced before the AGM.
I would hope however being told by Alan in his podcast about projects which will be announcable in the short term this comes to fruition.

Lyates you have good reason to lead a shareholders leadership as you are currently largest holder.. so it may be worth preparing for a few emails not just from yourself but us also.. Directors need to dig deep and buy shares to show confidence...

They've got 2 weeks then until AGM.
That's a short term time frame as far as I'm concerned since Alan said in the very near future projects would be announced.
It's now up to them....we've been led on and on for too long now with very little to offer shareholder value.
Back at placing price...wtf! !

You will find a fair few disgruntled share holders in nothing material has transpired by then... Nigel Burton, Alan Minty should be working towards a reasonable good AGM! Be it in the form of an project coming to fruition or director taking shares! They must put there monry where there mouths are!! Good day to all...............

If project signed before AGM, it will be much more of an enjoyable experience, and pleased to be a Nuogger. If not votes cast on the day will echo mine and I'm sure others discontent.
The next few weeks will dictate NUOGs leadership over the next year in my opinion.

I do agree with you lyates2010. The board has stated they are confident so what better way of showing this by director buying shares.. As for the agm yes justification will need to be shown..

I am of the hope that project signed will materialise soon.

So who's going to the agm??
Who is going to re-elect some of the board....with this progress I probably won't. What does Diamian minty do...CFO..I know it's about keeping it in the family..but come on.
Also not sure what value some of the others are bringing...yet quite happy taking the share of my savings to fuel the lifestyle.
I as Nigel and Alan do what to see progress and soon, but paying salaries that don't add any value..tell me otherwise? I would like them to stand up and justify their re-election.
Otherwise I will be voting this money went towards the vacancies advertised for our up and coming projects.

Eas maybe he/she has take a position its quite normal to knock a share and the take a postion sad but ture seen it many a time... I would honestly give someone more credit/respect if they said they wanted in at lower share price and deramped rather than continue to post doubt/negativity and behind that very keyboard they type are actually taking a position! IS Is this the world we live in really!!

Having probably misunderstood you initialy when you first started posting here I now actually look forward to reading most/some of your posts and genuinely feel for you when you lose money!

I hold about 10 million of these and if you knew my average you'd cack yourself!

In my haste to skim through the RNS's yesterday I misread the part about Newfoundland. The 5% royalty deal is for the offshore rights which I believe have not been explored up until now. So I guess it's a no brainer on NUOG's part as this was never going to be on the cards to do themselves. A brucie bonus if you like. The PVF Energy deal for onshore is still on the table whereby NUOG would retain 60% after PVF recover their operating costs. Not a bad deal if they get it flowing. Surprised none of this came up in conversation yesterday. Would have thought the researched investors would have put me in my place... Still expect a similar tiny royalty fee if mfdev ever gets off the ground. GL Oz Merry Xmas

Usual holiday activity, MM's having a nice tree shake to clear out the bed sit short term traders playing on credit. May add a few more before Xmas, real action & vols starts again in Q1-2017
