Most flatlining shares like this are in suspension. At least we should be grateful for small mercies - had a few of those in my time :(

Serious movement I feel will be around 8p+ .Accumulating is showing at the lower price level it is now as we can see.

My suspicion is that the small trades we keep seeing are to 'check' the progress. Believe they are intentional and probably algo trades so that the bigger trades happen in this range not higher. Someone is very keen on this stock imo.

Funny you mention Anglo.

I had a similar experience with EVRAZ. Bought them as low as 65p I think from memory. Sold way way too early, and they made a very healthy recovery.

Its quite a skill to recognise an undervaluation, buy big, and then just ignore them for 6-12 months. That's where real gains are made.

I did that once Neily with Anglo American. A private finance group called Silchester I believe took a 5% stake when Anglo were being hammered down below £2 a share from highs of, I dunno, £30-plus and the word was it would go bust.

Early January 2016 or 17 and I took a punt, not a small one either, and watched as it recovered within a month to £3.50 or so. I was content and cashed in.

Three months later it was £8 and then after 6 months approaching £15. It has never really gone back since.

If NTOG gets its Mesquite drills producing as it is suggesting I won't be selling up quite so quickly...not with management having 8p options in tow.

We just have a totally becalmed moment and we're either in the eye of the storm or the doldrums. But as you say, there is still money going in here on the quiet. Just waiting for the first zephyr to cry 'set the mainsail' I reckon. Lol.

The accumulation continues. As has been said before, this is primed and ready for a succession of RNS that will bring about some major drills into the spring and summer that will transform the revenues at NTOG.

As Lofgran said in his presentation last month, there are plenty of players not only taking shares but also wanting to joint venture with our Mesquite programme.

This flat-lining can't continue for too much longer. 2.6p buys are nice but if all goes according to plan that will reverse the digits soon enough...

Meanwhile oil at $61 might mean the hedge is about to be stopped too. I see Aramco stated the super giant oil field they operate is well down on current production levels, so upward pressure on prices should continue as well.

Tbh it's just being held between news Paul imo Hasnt really drifted very much which a good thing and yes partly for accumulation. Am very happy just holding and waiting. Really can't be too long. Follow da money as they say.In the meantime pick yourself up a few wdc.

Theaviator - do you reckon MMs have been filling the likes of Eridge Capital orders and holding the price down while they do so of late?

Up from 4.98% to 6.11% is another vote of confidence and they won't be doing so on a wing and a prayer - unlike most of us poor PIs! All our research and understanding of what NTOG is developing gets us nowhere if the price doesn't start to appreciate...and big holders are therefore appreciated.

Once all the ducks are in a row Matt will probably come out with the jv partner news and Mesquite drill programme which is all that really gets oil E&P plays moving, as we found out last year.

Looking like April and a new tax year before we really get going again I suspect. Do you have a target? I'm expecting new highs once we start to spud any one of the 8 prospective new wells for horizontal pay...with 8p and options once any one is successful.

After that, it should be a multiplier effect I reckon. Hold and accumulate as ever in what is a nice under the radar play imho.
