Our software is going through the normal testing and approval procedures and we fully expect to get official approval in the next couple of days. 15/5/2007 14:28 | This is such a dull stock. It's like watching paint dry. It moves by insignificant amounts and only occasionally. As soon as it reaches 90p I'm out. I long term hold I hear you say, undoubtedly yes. | thehearse
15/5/2007 13:51 | ok, so whats with the volume? | superglide

12/5/2007 09:48 | Yep I have a large chunk of these too. I cant see that much has changed to prevent me from continuing to be bullish on NIS. Aquisition has been NIS modus for a while now, and I am pretty sure it was a well thought out move. If the share price does continue to decline, then i reckon its just a buying opportunity. Of course, all stock market investments carry a bit of risk, and it can twitch the nerves a little. I would also like to hear from TW, who is presumabley still considering the latest announcements. | slaterlp
11/5/2007 10:24 | I'm guessing the market is worried about NIS being further saddled with debt....and there is also the risk of problems integrating the acquisition. Such fears are presumably spooking the market....even if they eventually prove to be unfounded the share price will probably be weak until some update on the integration process (trading statements/full year figures) which will be some months to come. So I can't see the NIS share price going north in a hurry...which is a shame 'cos they are one of my largest holdings. Am currently wishing the previously mooted 110p takeover had come to pass. Boo hoo, J. | ![]() jazza

08/5/2007 17:32 | ards "i use ichimoko clouds" Is that something you smoke or is that chartists jargon? :) I dont smoke anymore, and I dont understand the nitty gritty of charting that well, I dont suppose I could ask you to put that part about the clouds into laymans speak could I? | slaterlp
08/5/2007 13:32 | I think that it is a bit more simple than that. basically hedge funds make money by buying takeover target and shorting the acquirer. It works most of time so I think that and under performance of one division explains move. i personally think that the bottle is have full rather than empty and getting chance to buy some shares in future HR global firm not a bad bet. the main problem is that technically the shares look like a sell. i use ichimoko clouds a bit and looks like the daily has pierced the cloud. not a good sign. I am no expert but the ADX looks as if there is cross suggesting a trend may be developing. I could be completely wrong however. would like to see it get above 84 before taking plunge. | ![]() ards
08/5/2007 07:07 | Good question Jade. | ![]() hotfinance14
07/5/2007 23:34 | Having watched the webcast on the NIS website I feel that this will prove to be a good move. However, the initial reaction suggests to me that the market is not going to credit the company with an improving share price until something tangible is produced--and Chris Stone appears to indicate that the deal will not be completed until Aug and so will not be earnings enhancing until next financial year. So, those who are saying this will not prove to be exciting in the short term are probably right. Still, I do not feel inclined to sell. Can someone explain why some analysts are so upset that EBITDA will be at lower end of forecasts even though EPS will be at the upper end? Would they want it to be the other way round? | jadeticl |
